It would be ignorant to say police beutality isn't a thing these days
But also dont forget that it happens to every race
And I don't know how accurate this is but i saw a video the other day that claimed police brutality on white men is way way way more common than the other races
Regardless of race or gender its a big problem
A very big problem

Beautiful and inspiring as always.
Thank you!
there is a host of ways to talk about this. History of white superiority runs thousands and thousands upon thousands of years deep. Its so complex yet simple. Simple is we choose to separate ourselves , yet if wed realize we are all equal in gods eyes.
Thousands of years deep what are you talking about? Ever heard of the dark ages? Whites didn't start with skyscreapers and autmobiles, they rose from the bottom just like other countries did.
Secondly if you think its that bad here you can always leave. But of course you won't because you are exaggerating how bad things are, you know its better here than 90% of countries.
@HonestWhiteGuy.. what am i talking about? The Greek and especially the roman empire. You say i know not what i talk about but you dont. What do i need to leave for my family are natives this land belonged to us.
BLM has been largely hijacked by the Soros crowd and socialists, to push the media agenda. Any real, credible BLM left needs to take their movement back from these hijackers. Because the hijackers have been using BLM's name to also push for pro-ISIS entities within our nation - which shows the degree of sellout to pure evil that the hijackers are willing to do, since ISIS is the single largest enslaver of blacks in the modern world.
really. well what about this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52eRAimHimchttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOvpzI7noKsDoesn't change my opinion.
Alright.
This is a problem on both sides. There are a few bad apples in every domination. Just like the individual who has shot several officers in Dallas, Texas tonight. I hope he gets justice too #bluelivesmatter
Here is part of the tragedy of this. Black lives matter when a black life is lost, justified or not, to a police officer. The heinous rated of black on black murder throughout the USA, the 50% of black babies snuffed out by abortion the 70% of the survivors brought up in single parent homes and the 50% unemployment rate of black youths, aggravated by illegal immigration are ignored by race hustlers and the media.
Black lives matter every day, all day to me.
What can be done about it? I agree both those shootings were totally uncalled for. Maybe cops who are having a bad day should be assigned to desk duty for the day. Those particular cops can be prosecuted, perhaps. But look at Baltimore; after the cops were charged in the Freddie Gray case (and so far all acquitted) the police cut back on enforcement in parts of the city, and as a result the murder rate skyrocketed. What is the answer - more training? The last two shootings, in Baton Rouge and Minnesota, were not of gang members or criminals, and occurred in what should have been routine interactions between police and the individuals in question.
Is there anything we can do because I don't know what to do...
Speak out against. Be heard. Be unapologetic.
@ichot "Monkeys". But let me guess, you're not racist, right?
@StreetLevel Of course I'm racist. Everyone is to a certain extent.
And of course my previous comment offended someone, regardless if no ill intentions.
You really think those irrational rioters are worth any more than animals? What good does looting the local businesses do for the community they live in? What kind of impression do you think they make of themselves with their actions.
Call me whatever you want.
What a person confused about what to do should be to be come everything that the BLM movement is not. Rational, level headed, and has control over their emotions.
Wonderful take I agree this is a serious issue in our society.
Thank you
I find it funny how most African Americans would much rather keep their internalized problem under the radar, but point the finger to blame any non-black for every misfortune the black community faces.
It's funny how all of this just flew completely over your head. You poor, simple minded thing.
And how's is police brutality toward blacks an internal problem fuckwit?
Well, when you don't follow the orders that the police give you and make threatening moves toward them, you should expect to possibly get shot. They have to try to protect themselves, but then when they do, we always have to play the race card.
Hard to make threatening moves when you're pinned down eh?
in most cases those "threatening gestures" are usually running away or putting up their hands in surrender. I am not sure how someone who is pinned down and handcuffed and outnumbered 10-to-1 can be a threat to an armed and armoured cop with military training. For some people being black is a "threatening gesture"
Well, the problem is that people are still waiting for equality and it's never going to happen. To be successful in a white man's world, folks with browner skin will have to work twice as hard and be twice as compliant to the police.
As a realist, that's the truth. Which is why I'm going to spend my hard-earned money on a master's degree instead of stuff like mansions or sports cars.
Good take. I do agree that violence has gotten out of hand. Violence with violence or any violence is not the answer.
Police are meant to protect and a good majority does that. Like in e erything, some take things too far.
Thank you. And I agree, violence is not the answer.
When you bring up "black on black crime", you're putting the police on the same level as street thugs and gangbangers, which they are, so keep doing it.
You're going hard in these comments lol
Black lives only matter when they're taken by white police officers. The vast majority of black murder victims are killed by other black people. Despite this overwhelming fact, the only time black people get upset over violence is when it involves a white police officer killing a black person. And it doesn't even matter that 95% of these killing are justified, black people just want to be angry that a white person killed one of their own.
Y'all need to recognize your own hypocrisy about these killings, and y'all need to start conducting yourselves better in interactions with law enforcement.
Black lives matter every day to me. Oh and the cop that killed the unarmed man in the car was Asian. Good day.
The 'unarmed man' in the car wasn't actually unarmed, though, was he? He got shot because he was actually reaching for a gun, just like the thug in Louisiana. Keep fucking up with law enforcement and this stuff will keep happening.
Yes, he was definitely reaching for a gun.
That bias, whew. He told the officer he had a legal gun, if you're going to shoot someone why would you tell them you've got a gun dumbass? He was going for the ID the retard cop asked him for.
And when you bring up "black on black crime", you're equating cops witb street thugs and gangbangers, which they are, so keep doing it.
@StreetLevel LOL get real. No one believes this bullshit anymore, this default racial narrative that a poor, innocent 'honor student' was shot by an evil cop. It always comes out later that the deceased had a gun, was a career criminal, was wanted for various other crimes, and acted aggressively toward police.
if you genuinley think that cops in general are racist, then please explain why the position of law enforcement officer *should* attract racists so much? the media only shows you the examples of arrests that resulted in police brutality, and even then only the ones where the victims happened to be black. if you're still not convinced, go back and look at all the examples of police brutality against black people and tel me how many of the victims resisted arrest and how many didn't.
Oh I'm well aware that media plays a huge part in this. I don't stand for police brutality with any race. Resisting arrest shouldn't equal out to a person losing their life.
Well how many of the officers who killed were suspeneded for unnecisary force?
Black Lives Matter has caused chaos in my city and this entire nation. They planted a bomb in a police department, here. I'm officially done with Black Lives Matter.
With black people, I'm fine with them, I got plenty of cool black friends. But Black Lives Matter? People told me it was a terrorist organization but after looking it over, they've done way more harm than good.
Cool. Go hang out with your "black friends".
Nope they ain't available rn
Probably not. Probably too busy getting shot dead by the police. Or hung from tree in a park. Or called a n** or monkey and spit on. But it's BLM that's causing chaos in the nation right?
Alright u wanna have this argument?
Here, in St. Louis, it's a half black city. So it's pretty evident I would have black friends. Racism isn't really that prevalent here, and I can explain how Ferguson/Michael Brown shooting wasn't an act of racism, but Black Lives Matter protests have stopped traffic in my city, disrupted daily life, forced the cops to use force they would rather not, and have even attempted to sneak a bomb into the Ferguson police department. Tell me how the fuck that is not terrorism, a bomb in a police department.
THey've done a shit load of harm. They've caused 3 large riots to date in St. Louis, and even in my nice suburban neighborhood which isn't even that close to Ferguson, I heard 5 gunshots one night.
They sure as hell have done more harm than good in my city. Then, there's the Dallas shooting.
If people listened to the police when they're pulled over or apprehended, then these things would not happen.
Tell that to Philando Castile.
Philando Castille, so I just looked this up, he was shot for reaching for his wallet. I read a bit into it, he had informed the officer (he was latino, by the way, so no white supremacy shit is going down here) that he was ARMED, the officer tells Castille he doesn't want him to reach for anything, he wants his head up.
No shooting such as this had ever gone down in their department's history. Sounds like a bit excessive force for a broken tail light, but after informing the officer that he was armed and then reaching for the wallet? I'm going to have to read more into this before you can convince me of anything with this guy
And either way, Black Lives Matter protests have triggered many acts of violence. Now whatever way we can change the police system, we will, but this is not the way. Disrupting daily life is NOT THE WAY.
Are there people that promote violence while hiding behind BLM? Yes there are. Do I support violence as answer to violence? Not at all. But there would be no BLM if black lives mattered...
No, I think that all lives should matter. Arabs, Mexicans, even Whites are being persecuted! Arabs get the living crap beaten out of them just for living in America, Mexicans shamed for "taking our jobs". All lives matter
All lives can't matter unless black lives start to matter.
Indeed. But leaders of the movement need to reach farther to the other members that give it a bad name
True
#BlackLivesMatter
#BlueLivesMatter
#AllLivesMatter
To whoever downvoted me, you do realize that two cops are dead, 8 others injured by two snipers at a rally/protest? Their lives matter. So do black peoples', everyone's do
Thank you!
@Rocket_Queen the numbers are now 4 dead, 11 injured.
So sad. 😔 If we could all manage to come together it would be great. Unfortunately I'm not sure that will ever happen.
It's common for people on the outside to misinterpret a movement. They think that just because you insist that black lives matter, you don't care about other lives. Not true. I am pro-life and some people think this means I am anti-woman. Not true. I believe homosexuality is morally wrong and some people say this means I hate gay people. Not true.
