Wow, it does change my mind. It makes me think the disgusting human Derek Chauvin is an even bigger piece of shit than I thought he was to begin with.
wow Canadians lack critical thinking skills. purely emotional sub humans
@007kingifrit Thank you
It doesn't change my opinion, I was pissed that the cop wasn't getting a 1st degree murder charge at first, but as evidence came out I saw that the 3rd degree charge was probably fair. Then they upped the charge, I think the cop has a chance of getting off now because of that.
Changes nothing. You don't press your neck on a handcuffed man for over 8 minutes to murder him.
the knee on his neck does not appear to have been the cause of death
besides he was a monster of a human, not a person, its ok to kill someone like him even if its just for fun
It doesn't change a thing for me. The man was still murdered.
It changed mine. I thought it was premeditated. With this vid, it looks like an accident and a lot of miscommunication. RIP George. 😢
It doesn't even seem premeditated in the original footage, how did you come to that conclusion?
Several media outlets were stating the cop had bad blood with him. Looks to me that George was screaming he can't breathe the whole time and it was difficult to calm him down regardless of where he was 🤷
i knew something like this would happen. we NEVER had any data to suggest the cops did something actually wrong
i knew all along not to take it seriously, not to jump to conclusions
omg not u again I swear. I knew you supported his death. I knew it
George created his own drama show Still , they did murder him though.
It doesn't change the fact the cop knelt on his neck for 9 minutes.
Cops right away had there guns out for just routine stop, that’s wrong right there but then he was scared and resisting arrest, seems like they were doing what they had to but kneeling on his neck was not good at all
Explain to me why a cop can have their gun out for a routine stop but a normal citizen must remain calm with a gun in their face?
@1truekhaleesi Well that’s what I was saying wasn’t right, I was surprised that they did that from the start
Being able to say that "I can't breathe" means that you are able to breathe!
Basic First Aid!
Mmm... I feel like that’s part of a cops job. Those are scenarios that will always happen and are common. Crack heads, drug addicts, mentally ill people, violent people... there will always be people who resist arrest. And you have to know how to deal with it as a cop. Especially if the person is unarmed. There’s no reason to sit on a persons neck and watch them die. And they’re handcuffed. No excuse in my eyes.
He was still murdered. This video doesn't change that.
Cops still murdered the guy
periodt but you can't argue with Trump supporters. They're too evil to have basic human empathy and besides they're too brainwashed.
Definitely helps the cops cases. Dont know if it will result in an acquittal, but anything is possible.
No. I’ve always seen Floyd not as a hero, just a victim of police brutality.
I don't give a shit really. This happened a long time ago.
imagine being so high that you actually die lol
BTFO’d hahahah
6 months prior to george Floyd's death a white man died in exactley the same circumstance. There is no way in hell G. F 's death was racially motivated.
He was brutally murdered.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Look how fun drugs are kids.
didn't care before to care now.
@Froyologirl I don't care about Trump either honey nor I support it. Just because i didn't give that case much attention doesn't mean i support trump or i am a careless person. There more important and serious things in life than these silly matters.
sure you do. Stop being in denial
@Froyologirl poor you
I didn't watch the original footage. I'm queasy about watching people get killed.
poor tactics, plain and simple.
No, still a criminal like the others
Nope I've always been BLM all the way.
lmao not surprised men disliked this as always. Men chile no wonder people are saying KAM on tik tok.
Not interested in watching a "new view" on this case.
It would serve absolutely no purpose.
Are you saying you are refusing to watch the video? Could you clarify as to why?
I'm not refusing.
I'm declining.
I already told you why.
But to further that, I live in Canada. We don't have a 400-year history of slavery, lynching, apartheid and segregation. So my watching one video posted by some American who has had an epiphany over it won't make my day or colour me impressed one iota. My view on the issue is Americans are dumb fucks. One more video from a different angle of a black man being killed won't change that view.
Gotta say, pretty unnecessarily aggressive on all fronts.
-- "I'm not refusing. I'm declining." As far as I'm aware, those are synonyms and are more-or-less the same thing, just maybe apart from slightly different connotations regarding politeness. Furthermore, I just looked up 'refuse' in a thesaurus, and 'decline' was the first synonym to pop up.
-- "We don't have a 400-year history of slavery" etc.. Well, the US itself is only 250ish years old, and Canada is only 150 years old, so I suppose you're right there. If you include the years leading up before the US was established, that's also one thing, and then [the area of] Canada's slaving history is 'only' 200 years old while [the area of the US's] is longer/older.
-- "some American who has had an epiphany" You make it sound like I posted a documentary or commentary. It was bodycam footage, and I didn't give my opinion on the matter. Me wondering peoples' positions doesn't tell my side, and I haven't shared it on G@G, so I do believe this is you operating under an assumption of me holding a side/stake in the matter.
-- "My view on the issue is Americans are dumb fucks." Ok, perhaps a stereotyping/overgeneralization fallacy, but hey-- if that's your viewpoint.
-- "One more video from a different angle of a black man being killed won't change that view." The video doesn't show a 'different angle.' It's the moments leading up only... but ok.
And, we're done.
It's an American issue.
Deal with it.
Doesn’t change my opinion at all
Why didn't he want to get out of the car? Hmm?
The cop car?
His own car
Oh right, weird. The whole freak out from start to finish didn’t really make sense. Drugs, dude.
my view has not changed, he didn't deserve to die.
It's irrelevant
