I live in the Kansas City metro area there was a shooting at one of our high schools. The vice principal and the schools police officer pulled him into the their office. He pulled out a gun from his backpack and tried to kill them. The police officer and the vice principal or would it slightly. The young man was wounded seriously and less placed in the hospital. The young man's excuse was he was failing school and decide to kill those that were responsible. His viewpoint was he was a senior and he had a right to graduate. The only one at fault in this situation was the young man. Both ways. He was stupid for pulling a gun and trying to kill people. And it was even stupider for not listening to his advisors and instructors. This young man's future was made by his stupid choice. He will spend years in prison and that's up his own life.
"Blame" is a poor choice of words, because it implies moral fault or reprehensible conduct. The focus should be on what conditions make it more likely for a child to become a school shooter. Some of those reasons may exist despite the best intentions of the people involved. And the blame game does not encourage people to look for sonstructive solutions.
Well tbh, I think that the people who knew the shooter and his self mutilating and psychotic behaviors, who did and said nothing to warn people that the guy was a ticking time bomb of violence waiting to happen. It's not on your list for voting but, I feel it's his parents and the people who knew him faults. I don't blame guns or the government, something could have been done before and this guy would have been on medication in a mental health board and care facility.
The Liberals. The lack of God and good moral and values education in schools. The decline of the traditional family and family values. And also popular culture. Look at the Hollywood movies - there is no movie that does not praise violence, rudeness, vulgarity, cynicism, sex and everything else that is ugly and immoral. Even watch children's movies - they promote rudeness and violence from an early age. In this way, children from an early age believe that it is cool to be rude and disrespectful to people around them. They believe that violence is an appropriate form of simply expressing your antipathy to someonene.
It doesn't matter if we all agree what is to blame if republicans will just refuse to let anything be done about it. Addressing the mental health crisis would be socialism and, really, while few might call the rampant insecurity in the US a "mental health crisis," it is, and republicans absolutely rely on it to get elected.
The government. Before you scroll past.. Consider this fact; EVERY TIME they push for a ban on guns and I mean EVERY TIME... There is a school shooting. Weird coincidence? Tragic irony? Planned control? Things that make you go.. Hhmmm
I would say mental health mainly because no student would get the idea unless they were bullied or molested or abused and also easy access to guns. If you cannot get a gun then you just know someone who can or you can just buy it on the Black market even without a license. The government cannot do anything about the Black Market anyways because even if they shut one down there is another under the radar.
The news is to blame. People see all the reports of previous shootings which gives others with bad intentions the idea if they do the same they'll get attention on the news. Please people stop watching the news. I get it we all want to be in the know but as the saying goes curiosity killed the cat, or in this case the neighbors cat.
I believe school shootings are caused by corrupted morals and corrupted morals are caused by child abuse with parents who were not able to care for their children due to poverty or mental problems or addiction or domestic violence at home - this is a complex and long term problem and preventing these incidents requires a collaborative effort to remove moral corruption in society by everyone
It's not a coincidence that shootings happen more in USA than other countries with stricter guns laws just saying. Mental health issues are a problem everywhere so that's not the factor why shootings happen more in USA than other countries with stricter guns laws, along with bad parenting and the rest that stuff all happens everywhere. So I think the answer is very clear. Won't be hearing about a London school shooting anytime soon just saying. Or a school shooting in my city? never lol.
There will ALWAYS be criminals and people with mental health problems. Who are to blame? The US residents that are pro guns. Ban all guns. Like ALL guns with very limited licences for those that NEED (not want) them. You'd have to buy them back I guess.
But if you're pro guns and a US voter then you're partially to blame for these events. You need to vote to ban guns. US citizens have been brainwashed into thinking guns are a good idea. Ridiculous, they kill.

Sandy hook was 100% a false flag. There are so many holes in that story, none of the data is consistent, and everything is secretive and questions are attacked.
Now, I am not saying that this shooting was fake at all. I do find it strange that the one teacher at sandy hook (Victoria Leigh Soto) and the teacher at this school (Eva Mireles) look amazingly similar.
The international bankers that own the federal reserve, the Rockefeller Foundation, etc., want to disarm the American people because, since a disarmed population cannot fight, that will make it easier for them to gain total control. Therefore, these shootings will not stop until the American public realizes they are false flag operations. Then instead one a month, they may occur once every fifty years, as was the case in the past.
Sounds like a person with islamophobia. But I’ll tell you who to blame. It’s this countries worthless boomers. Reproducing like the degenerates they are. Having the audacity to have children whilst not having a single clue on how to parent properly. Boomers still not having proper security at schools. It all comes back to the worthless good for nothing boomers. No action taken but rather a lot of tears and anger. There are people so conditioned that they have no reaction to this. One black man gets choked and cities get burned down in response. But multiple schools get shot and nothing happens. Oh my bad school shootings are a new trend compared to the blacks being killed by cops. So I’m gonna assume Americans will probably get the fuck up off their asses after the next two or three (God Forbid) shootings. This is the reality of the situation.
There are a lot of things to look at. I would not select just one. The common trend I see all around is kids doing what they see online, because it is a trend. I can’t say this is what happened in this situation, but the investigation is still happening
Ever since Columbine in the 90's we've been trying to protect kids in schools. Adding cops and removing social workers and nurses. Now there's more shootings than ever before. Mental health needs to be addressed in this country. Prevention not Protection is the key.
Mental health is big Lack of parental discipline kids being brought up in shitty conditions. Hell, religious motivation
I know this is a dead horse, but guns are not evil. Evil is in the heart and mind of the wielder. People have been doing this long before gunpowder existed. Doesn't make it any less tragic though.
Who is the blame when a drunk gets behind the wheel and causes a 10 car pileup and 20 people die? Also what is the difference? Are their deaths less serious? In both cases an individual, because he has freedom to help people or hurt people , decided to hurt people. It is called life and why you should be right with God and believe Jesus was the son of God. This physical life is but a blip of your actual life.
Mental health and just the health care in general in this selfish dog eat dog capitalism society is at fault which automatically makes it the governments fault and those old rotting decrepit corrupt presidents we for some reason keep putting into power
So what do expect to get other than militarized police put into place to oppress non armed civilians and don't care if our children get killed because it's not their job to serve and protect
Ultimately it is the shooter to blame, his 'spree' did not start at the school he first shot and wounded his grandmother, the weapons used were bought legally, everything that happened was because of the choices he made, he passed all of the legal checks that were in place including the background check,
Everyone even his family don’t know what motive or catalyst was for doing what he did, its even got all of the law enforcement agencies scratching their heads trying to figure it out.

The shooter. Everyone near him knew he was messed up. His own mother and grandmother were freaked out that he just bought the guns.
Everyone who knew him knew he wanted to kill. Had a history of torturing pets, scratching his face and harassing people.
No one wanted to do what was necessary. No one wants to call in government when they have a friend and or family member going out of control.

The shooter was Hispanic and there's no evidence to indicate him nor any of his victims were Muslim 🤦

Im not talking about religion, religion here is not the question
one sentence was religion. Quit hating God
I dont hate God but stop using God name for everything.

So much for the NSA spying on the masses with the Prism program.
