People get robbed in California in middle of the day and Democrats laugh at it and let thugs go. Illegals caught with one hundred million in drugs , let go because they were illegal. Only people California will prosecute are Trump voters.

A lot of the big fires are do to poor wildland management and money.
They got so far behind they will never get caught up.
Also the terrain does not help, and the fact that they don't receive much rain as well as they let people build in ares that make it nearly impossible to put a fire out once it starts.
The issues go way back and now they are screwed.

Because the state has consistently contributed far more than it has received in federal spending for years (unlike many Republican run states), and now expects to receive help to deal with a major natural disaster.
The federal government spent $115 billion to support the recovery after hurricane Katrina, and another $55 billion after hurricane Sandy, so it's a pretty reasonable expectation (and literally the reason FEMA exists).

And you can't seriously believe the fires are just the result of mismanagement? We all know the real cause, and it's the same thing that caused last week's record breaking heatwave in Europe (or do you think wildfires and 104°F temperatures in London are normal?) and the increasingly intense bushfires in Australia, etc.

Not natural. Fire was started by one of your druggies or homeless. All those homeless people in that rich state. I think more homeless and druggies should just burn the state down. Texas pays more to Gov't and than California and Liberal Gov't refused to help them with hurricanes.

CA is not good. I live here. And people don't seem to understand that GDP does NOT mean that is how much tax money the state has. That is just money that has changed hands.

Newsom claims to have an extra $91 billion, but the state is in debt over $545 billion.

That is like having $545 in debt on a credit card and having $91 in your pocket and claiming that you are doing well and have extra money.
