Look , well documented what I think of abortion and the lifetime pain and suffering for the mother ( that was to be ) , you simply NEVER get over it. But , this proposal if correct is beyond ludicrous , targets the vulnerable , its easy to have a child if you have plenty $$$ and a nanny.
Headed in completely the wrong direct , and is just a stupid proposal. Beyond Crazy.
Oh my god... this is appalling... I don't agree with the death penalty at all no matter what the person did, and I'm both horrified and disgusted with the government. This is the US, this is supposed to be the land of love and freedom. But we are slowly but surely becoming more like Russia than the US. I highly doubt this bill will be signed into law and I really hope it doesn't
Death penalty is wrong, there is very few cases you can defend that verdict. This is far from it. So instead of losing the already lost life you add one more and any future kids that woman could have to the mix.
No, it shouldn't. This is a state issue, not a federal issue. I don't want lunatic Democrats who think it's ok to abort a baby while it's in the birth canal or leave a baby born due to botched abortion to die on a table
Terrible. This is terrible. Until a certain point there is no problem as to get an abortion. Why kill women who didn't kill anyone. What they aborted wasn't alive, those were only a group of cells. I would move somewhere else as I wouldn't want to pay taxes for this bullshitery
You are allowed to think so. I would just like to add to my opinion that think that abortions should exist and that we should not bully women into pregnancies and child birth as that could bring many problems for many people involved in unwanted pregnancies. I wish men could also give birth, if it was so then I'm positive those laws wouldn't be even disscussed.
You are right, I googled it. It is sth to think about. In my country it is legal to do it up to 10m in, but it would be very hard to do with a heartbeat.
Also the second edit is just wow. A soul is created the moment sperm and egg touches. I can't agree with that, I would say the babies soul is created much later, maybe third semester. Now I see we will never agree as you are obviously anti abortion at any point and I think it should be a womans right to abort the baby as its her body and forsing someone to become a mother is so wrong, but no the easiest thing for men is to be anti abortion, like they are having a baby in their body, why should someone who can't get pregnant and only do impregnating have a say
The first comment is for whiteboychill and the second I guess a mix of both the guy that replied last and the asker as I didn't realize that it's not the same person
It's a series. And lots of people. Elizabeth moss is one of the main characters.. Yvonne Strahovski, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd Joseph Fiennes, Samira Wiley...
The Death penalty is not outlawed, and applied broadly to a wide range of murders in many different states.
Indeed to this day Texas maintained the most active death row in the western world.
If you beleive the right to life begins before birth as the majority in South Carolina do, then the only question is does the circumstances of said murder justify the death penalty.
I doubt the majority in the South Carolina state legislator would agree it does however it is a legitimate question.
To call it femicide is to call any other lawful execution of a person who has choose to unlawfully kill anther such
killing people is wrong. abortion is killing people which is wrong. killing people because they illegally got an abortion is wrong. 2 wrongs don't make a right.
This sounds kind of inflammatory- I'd like to see what the actual law is suggesting. Likely it's speaking of women who do partial birth abortions at 9 months, which I think is as evil as smashing your newborns head against a wall.

Well abortion is murder so it makes sense. However, if it is performed by a doctor the doctor should be arrested not the mother.
How so? SC or other states are doing something more barbaric than a governmental war? I agree Syria is more peaceful than what many think and death penalty is barbaric, but so’re so-called civil wars.
I think that is stupid and way too overboard. Abortions are done by a medical professional for many reasons regarding their patients' health. Now you'll have a bunch of unwanted pregnancies, whether people consented to those or not.
there's an easy way to bypass this. Be smarter about sex if you're going to have sex or don't have sex at all. You don't NEED sex. People should know what comes out of having sex. I fully support this because it should force people to not be stupid
I do not support unlimited on-demand abortions as a backup form of birth control, which is exactly what it has been in the vast majority of abortions over the last five decades, but the death penalty is going way too far. There should be a penalty, but not death for fuck sake.
Here we go, religion being put into use for government policy. Realistically, abortion should be a protected medical procedure and should be confidential between a patient and a competent doctor. It should be legal across the whole country.

And I forgot to mention this on here, what's pro-life about murdering women who have abortions. The death penalty is murder
Death penalty is wrong, there is very few cases you can defend that verdict. This is far from it. So instead of losing the already lost life you add one more and any future kids that woman could have to the mix.
This does nothing to establish sensible abortion laws. A sensible and scientific abortion policy should be established nationwide.
No, it shouldn't. This is a state issue, not a federal issue. I don't want lunatic Democrats who think it's ok to abort a baby while it's in the birth canal or leave a baby born due to botched abortion to die on a table
@gorydetails that is why I said sensible and scientific
@exitseven Science is corrupted by the government.

I disagree that abortion is not killing a person but I am against killing the woman
You are allowed to think so.

I beg to differ. Just look at a fetus at 12 weeks of pregnancy and tell me that’s a “clump of cells”
Even so. It's still not alive yet and a woman is and has to keep living no matter what she chooses
You do realize that by 12 weeks they can detect a heartbeat and neurological activity?
I know that. Until then I am fine with abortions, after that only if it has a big defect
You still backtracked on your word though. Earlier you said “What they aborted wasn't alive, those were only a group of cells”
As I consider them until being alive with a heartbeat. I did not back track anything
Ok well I should tell you then that the heartbeat can be detected as early on as 6 weeks
You are right, I googled it. It is sth to think about. In my country it is legal to do it up to 10m in, but it would be very hard to do with a heartbeat.

But they allow 13 years old little boy to change his dick to a V
Nice
They can't get pregnant
But a raped 13 years old girl can’t abort
Nice. Humans like you make this shithole world better thanks for your contribution
Watch the hand maid's tale. You will then understand how crazy this is then!!
who is in the movie?
It's a series. And lots of people. Elizabeth moss is one of the main characters.. Yvonne Strahovski, Madeline Brewer, Ann Dowd Joseph Fiennes, Samira Wiley...
I have doubts it's gonna pass since death penalty/capital punishment is outlawed last I heard.
And even if so, it's gonna be a new form of femicide and I'm sure it will be fought against by human rights activists or some members of society.
The Death penalty is not outlawed, and applied broadly to a wide range of murders in many different states.

i am in favor of outlawing abortion. but i'm strictly against death penalty in general.
same here
killing people is wrong. abortion is killing people which is wrong. killing people because they illegally got an abortion is wrong. 2 wrongs don't make a right.
@888thegreat Bud lol. Just give the Bible a good read and tell me the Bible opposses the Death Penalty
@WhiteBoyChill who cares about the bible?
People that are Christian do
@WhiteBoyChill is this other guy a christian or what?
I don't believe in the death penalty for anyone, including the unborn child. Abortion is murder.
I agree
This sounds kind of inflammatory- I'd like to see what the actual law is suggesting. Likely it's speaking of women who do partial birth abortions at 9 months, which I think is as evil as smashing your newborns head against a wall.
Well abortion is murder so it makes sense. However, if it is performed by a doctor the doctor should be arrested not the mother.
It would be wrong. But yes the doctor does actual killing , not the woman. So , I guess law applies to doctors too. Then you would have fewer doctors.
Fewer doctors performing abortions.
I'm against the death penalty but abortionists would be guilty of murder.
same here
But would executing a woman who got an abortion un-abort that fetus?
Modern day Syria is now more civilized.
Congratulations America!
How so? SC or other states are doing something more barbaric than a governmental war? I agree Syria is more peaceful than what many think and death penalty is barbaric, but so’re so-called civil wars.
@HippieVeganJewslim Don't Scooby Doo me.
You know what I mean. This nation is devolving. It is not evolving.
one state so far
Many Yankees I reckon would find it offensive to hear their nation is developing. I agree with You, Roland.
Perfect.
They will learn to close their legs next time.
Come on it is too extreme
I think that is stupid and way too overboard. Abortions are done by a medical professional for many reasons regarding their patients' health. Now you'll have a bunch of unwanted pregnancies, whether people consented to those or not.

what is your faith?

many anti abortion people are also animal rights people and not religious
How can u be pro life and pro death penalty?
exactly
