The story of five kids killed in a car accident in New York is a heart breaking one indeed. Do you think it may be a law suit against the State? It seems that the kid driving ( only 16) fell asleep and the car went off a bridge.

Do you think the bridge was safe? Do you think people should donate to the go fund me page that was set up or do you think the parents might sue?

It was a great tragedy. Automobile accidents are a leading cause of death for people in that age bracket. They did not crash on a bridge but went of the road and hit a boulder. The driver did not have a license or permit and the car was rented by a relative. You have to wonder where the parents were and why this unlicensed kid had access to the vehicle.

Unfortunately the person at the wheel is ultimately responsible and because he is a minor his his parents. Would be no different if he fell asleep and drove off a cliff or into a truck.

Just read the article and I don't interpret it as an accident. If your an untrained unlicenced driver that's a deliberate criminal act not an accident.

Car crash, police stop, or school shooting, either way those kids were going to die "the American way" and it was just a mater of time.
