That's fine , the mother is just young enough the man can be any age , he has the means to support throughout the Childs life , he may well live another 20 years and give the child a solid upbringing , its not for others to judge , but you must have the financial means , Rupert Murdoch became a father at 71 , and they all scoffed at that , he is alive and working still running the business , the kid is 21 , Mick Jagger and Rod Stewart had children very late also and many of them , but are all very responsible.

Just the circle of life , but you need to be able to afford it , thats important , this child will be brought up well , and in the correct means. I lost my father when I was 7 .

Well, at least the mother, Tiffany Chen, who is De Niro's girlfriend, is reasonably young - younger than some of De Niro's kids ; she's in her late 30s.

Here she is a month ago with De Niro when she was pregnant.

I always liked him as an actor and I'm happy and surprised they had a child at this age but then again I read about this couple in their mid 80s last year who didn't have a child until they were in their 80s. I was shocked she was able to conceive naturally and give birth without any complications.

The only thing that worries me is what will happen to the child if they pass away in 10 years. It's sad to think about that. I feel every child deserves to have parents in their life while growing up so they could learn things from them and have lot of beautiful memories to look back on like doing some fun activities with parents and sweet gestures parents did for them.

If he wanted a kid so bad, then he should've adopted someone or just done that earlier in his life. Now he'll be that one parent that looks like a great grandparent watching his kid go into their first day of kindergarten. And worst of all, he's going to die within the kid's lifetime, but he may die before the kid finishes high school.

Well, I don't wish him any bad. But realistically, the human life span is what it is, and most women outlive most men. Now, he can afford the best medical care. But it's a question whether he will live to see this child grow up! My dad died young, at 52! My mom lived to 102, and she had her mental faculties almost up to the end (except maybe the last couple of months)! Does that mean my brother and I have good genes or bad? I don't know. But I'm 78, and I would never dream of fathering a child at my age! Been there, done that. Different things apply at different stages of life!

Most likely can't run, jump, or play like a child.

Kids need young parents that are young, healthy and can take on a active life a young child needs.

I made a promise to myself to stop having children when I reached 30. I had 9 kids by the way. Once I hit my 40s grandkids started coming.

And guess who can run, play, ride bikes and do all the stuff kids like to do.

This motherfucker right here. The kids love that I can chase their ass, play ball, ride bikes. Hell I even went roller skating with them for 5 hrs
