This reminds me of what happened to another very famous African American fighter Jack Johnson. They didn't like and African American being heavyweight champ & being so popular so they invented sex trafficking charges. Like Tate says the law is subjective.

He is charged with very serious crimes. He spoke saying he is not guilty and a great guy, but offered no proof of that. This is not the first time he has provoked bad feelings toward him. And he is not very smart. His latest comment was about the submersible crew. He tweeted "I dont care what submarine im on if wifey needs me ill be right there :) On my way baby, swimming baby, have a towel waiting baby." Is he dumb enough to think he would just open a door (from that depth) and swim home? A lot more will come out during trial.

They’ve already been charged, it’s just a question of whether they will be sentenced or given a pardon after being found guilty.

Seems to be the case. Jail at least for another 6 months. The tates will mysteriously hang themselves next.
