Who has better high-speed rail, Florida or California? In Florida you have Brightline the only privately owned and operated intercity passenger railroad in the United States. Construction began in 2015 in Florida without tax payer assistance. By 2018 stations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach opened. By 2022 two additional stations in Boca Raton and Aventura opened for business. Last Friday the Orlando station opened to the public. Brightline continues to expand their offerings and is a profitable business in the free market. A typical Brightline experience looks something like this:

Who has better high-speed rail?

In California you have CAHSR which is publicly funded using a socialist model. It has put the tax payers of California $100 billion in the red. Not even a single mile of track has been laid yet. They have built a few impressive bridges to nowhere though and probably bought a box full of $10,000 hammers... A typical CAHSR experience looks kind of like this... Who does it better, the capitalists or the socialists?
