A Pennsylvania man's support alligator named Wally was taken while visiting friends in the state of Georgia and released into the wild.

In local news We recently had an escaped dog survive 5 months in the wild and another 58 days. That's living out in the hills and mountains that kill people not being a town stray. Animals, even pampered pets are a lot more resilient than we give them credit for.

As for alligators, it's probably happier now it's got the chance to be an alligator and not a cuddle toy for a man who needs to grow a pair. But should someone ever get lost out in the swamp and they find themselves scared and need of support at least they've an alligator that'll hug them.

I'm familiar with wally and that's messed up that gator really liked his owner. And sadly he probably won't since he was domesticated his entire life though I hope he's reunited with his owner.

Honestly I'm kinda surprised that the owner didn't get him chipped in case something like this happened.

This really pisses me off. I have been following the story of that alligator and he even wore a little tux to a wedding. Children loved him and he was an inspiration, he was everything to the man he was supporting.

And someone took Wally away from him.

That's messed up. This was a nice feel good story between the guy and his alligator. Then someone has to take away a big thing that brought him happiness.

May the shitbag that did this suffer immensely.

Wally will probably be fine. I wonder if they kept him in a sanctuary long enough to determine if he still had the necessary instincts and skills though.
