Greenland is the largest island in the world and it only has about 50,000 people. It's a wasteland except that it has some really great resources that are valuable. The Chinese are already there, and we have a military base there. It would really stick it to China if we bought Greenland and that's one of the major reasons I think we should.

I would trade Puerto Rico for Greenland in a heartbeat, Puerto Rico is a big drain on the American taxpayers, and doesn't provide anything important for the country in return.

Puerto Rico does pay some US taxes, but the amount given to them each year in federal aid dwarfs what they pay. They pay roughly $5 billion in taxes and receive roughly $25 in federal aid.

A lot of things that the world didn't take seriously at the beginning of President Trump's term, they took as seriously as a heart attack by the end of it.

President Trump is a disruptor and a world rearranger. He was the first US president in a half century who did not get America into any new wars and pioneered the brilliant strategy of using America's most powerful weapon, it's economic strength and domination to reshape the world.

I think we are already seeing the rest of the world taking President Trump very seriously. Almost literally the day after he threatened Canada with tariffs, Trudeau was in Mar-A-Lago ready to do whatever President Trump wanted him to. It's called leadership. And both America and the world have been without it for the last 4 years. So naturally it is a shock to return to having a leader.

Sure but whereas Canada and the US are direct neighbours it's harder for Trump threaten Denmark directly. But besides that can he even trade American territory from a legal stand point?

I'm not suggesting he threaten Denmark. It's about negotiating with Denmark. I agree it is unlikely that a deal can be made, but if anyone can do it, it would be President Trump. And by the way it isn't the first time a US president tried to acquire Greenland. President Truman offered $100 million for it during his term.

I am joking about trading Puerto Rico for Greenland. It isn't even being discussed. But I think it would be a good trade.
