I would keep it...
for those who love it and truly enjoy it
just because I do not celebrate it or I am neutral to it doesn't mean I should take away someone else's fun, lol
If we remove it, we'll miss the free pornhub premium day and the Valentine's day themed porn too.
LOL.

People make too much money out of it to remove it.
I can't remember the last time I received something on Valentine's day, but the expectation is always that I give something? Yeah we can let this one die on the vine.
We have to have SOME holiday to use up all the red stuff left over from Christmas and then St Pat's to use up the green.
Keep it. I don’t get why everyone hates Valentine’s Day so much.
Keep it. Not enough romance in the world already.
"FINDER'S KEEPERS"xx
It's my fav holiday so I'd def keep it
I think Christmas is a good reminder to be giving and appreciative of those around you. I think Thanksgiving is a reminder to spend time with family and loved ones. And I think Valentine's day is a good reminder to put effort into your relationship... take them out on a date.
However, I don't like the expectations women have for Valentine's day like if their man does not do something romantic. It has become a little toxic in my opinion and I think people compare others romantic relationships to themselves more than they do when it comes to stuff with family. So I think I would vote to remove it.
The original St. Valentine supposedly was a priest who was executed for defying the emperor by marrying men and women by the Roman emperor Claudius II on February 14th. Claudius outlawed men of fighting age from getting married so they would be more willing to join his army. So Valentine's Day is supposed to honor the Saint who stood up for love. He had the balls to basically say "fuck the emperor!" , so we should keep celebrating it.
Some say St Valentine's Day supposedly originated from Lupercalia, where between February 13th to 15th ancient Romans would sacrifice goats and dogs. Then they would take strips of the dogs and goats hides dipped in the blood and whip women with them who wanted to get pregnant. I don't think modern women are into that sort of thing anymore, so maybe it's good that we discontinued that practice.
I’m a little bit of a romantic so in essence for those single and looking to make a gesture I get it but it’s been ruined by being monetized making it more about the card , the flowers , the date etc which overshadows the core message completely. Who needs the 14th of Feb to make that special gesture. Surely every other day it can mean just as much or even more?
As cheesy as it sounds I actually like Valentines Day. I know I can show a partner love and appreciation any day! I see it as a day to celebrate love even though nowadays is has been commercialized etc.
It does have historical context though https://www.britannica.com/topic/Valentines-Day
Remove it cause it’s commercial you can show someone you love them at anytime of the year 🙄
Christmas and Halloween is commercial should we remove that?
This isn’t about Halloween or Christmas it’s about Valentine’s Day
I’m just expressing my own opinion
Okay then how does Valentines Day differ from other Holidays that it would be considered NOT a holiday?
I don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day
thanks
it isn't really a holiday plus why would they remove a commercial day? they make money out of it n out of all the red stuff the sell
It's a day that people celebrate every year on Feb 14 just like Halloween so it's really no different then any other holiday that is celebrated on a certain day.
Ok thanks
Remove it, heck I don't really even see it as a holiday already. I would "celebrate" it if I had someone but still think it's just another day mostly.
Keep it. My ex-boss got married on Valentine's day. And I know many other couples who celebrate Valentine's Day. It's a special day for many so I say no on removing it.
I don’t care for valentines day. I choose to not celebrate it. But I have no issue with other people enjoying the day, so keep it.
The world? Remove it. I’m not aware of 5 days the entire world shares on a calendar
LOL.
Remove it - It costs women nothing, but is a constant drain on the resources of men who are in a relationship/married, outside Christmas it is the most commercialised "Celebration" in the western world!
I would keep it. It's very egotistical to think every holiday has to involve you (if you're single). Like, I don't celebrate Chinese New Year, but I can just ignore it, considering I don't have an Asian girlfriend.
I think it should just be renamed Female Entitlement Day.
