Do guys like girls who can beat them?

ok, I admit it. I love playing video games. I love it more when I beat a guy, for some reason. I play halo (I can own my bro and his friends at the game) and I love the zelda games. but I will play any game. and I will continue playing games until I'm near grandmaster at it.

do guys like that? would you date a girl who plays video games and beats you at it?

but! on the other hand, I also balance my time. I don't soend it all playing video games. I do go outside and run around. never homework! you can't make me! -rips up homework- no such thing.

I wouldnt' likea girl who knows what a grandmaster is (I don't even know hwat a grandmaster is). It would be great if a girl would play halo and other video games, but if a girl is like some grandmaster star wars/trek d&d freak I wouldn't like it at all. so yes a gamer girl in slight moderation, not a tomboy or a gamer freak. I wouldn't mind it if they were better than me at halo. Play some halo occassionally, but not if she plays more than 2 hours a week.

But I'm sure there are tons of guys who are gamer addicts who would love to date you. There are a lot of guys out there who play a lot of games and know all about grandmasters and zelda. So you probably wouldn't be for me, but there are definelty tons of people who are looking for someone like you.

My boyfriend likes to win(and he usually does), but he gets excited for me when I win too. He rubs it in how good he is sometimes but I find it amusing, cause then we'll switch to a game that I'm better than him at and the tables are turned, and he'll only put up with losing for so long before he wants to change the game again ;) lol

I don't really play video games but I do like playing football (soccer) and I have won before and it does feel great to beat a guy at his own game! But are you sure these guys aren't just letting you win? Because many times, I thought I had won fair and square but then they admitted they let me win! That's really annoying and patronizing-i hate that lol. If you can actually beat them without them letting you I don't think it would be a turn-off, I'm sure they'd like dating a girl they could actually compete with-some girls hate video games so it might be a bonus that you enjoy them!

everytime I played video games and beat my ex he would be happy for me but at the same time a little defeated.its just in mens nature to win and be superior.i actually think its funny so a few times I would let him win, but whenever I would he would always try to do a re-match.hahaha

Heck my wife and I play games together all the time. I love that, and I think a lot of guys would like that. Just don't rub it in their face or make them feel stupid since your better than they are. Teach them a few tricks on the game, may even lead to a kiss.
