Is it me who doesn't fit in or them?

Question

All of my friends drink to the possibly point of alcohol poisoning, do drugs, smoke their lungs out and just do really stupid stupid things. Some of my friends treat me like shit because they feel that they can. My roommates best friend spit in my face and thought it was funny, and my eyes hurt a little and I'm afraid I got something. They all want  to get off my medication so they can get me drunk and laugh. I feel unimportant and belittled. Then I noticed that a lot of people do these things and I don't understand why people are SO STUPID!?!?!?! Personally, I wish the world would end or I would just be dead because I don't do any of these things because I don't want to endanger myself and make mistakes and just feel really alone, unwanted and left out. Right now I really just want to cry after the spitting incident, because the guy that spit in my face (he's friends with my roommate), she didn't say or do anything! She probably does all this crap with other people because she even says that peer pressure does it to her and she has no will power! How are people like that? I just don't understand it! Is there something wrong with me?

I have to say it's kind of you and some others like us out there, there are a lot of douche bags out there like that, it sounds like you need to surround yourself with true friends, true friends don't do that crap to their friends even with peer pressure, in school I was the one of my friends that would end up in fights or getting ready to fight some of my other friends, because they did stuff like that to my other friends and I don't tolerate my friends being cruel or mean to each other for no reason. but anyways sorry for the story, but it's alright I understand how you feel, but there are better people out there worth the world going on and not ending to be friends with and stuff. They just sound like immature punks, hold out hope for meeting some people that are worth being around and just hold out and tough it out if you have to with those people until you can get truly good friends and try to avoid the crappy ones, I hope this helps.

Try being comfortable alone, people like that are taking advantage of the human need for belonging and acceptance, although they're clearly abusing it.

Once you're comfortable with the idea of not having any peers for some period of time, it becomes easier to drop the people who are not your friends and find time to make new ones.

Your "friends" are not really your friends, they are assholes who are so unsure of themselves that they will do something blatantly wrong just to be accepted by other assholes. But you give them the power to treat you like shit. If somebody spit in my face I can tell you I would not just sit there being upset and wait for someone else to handle it. I say this not to be bitchy, but to let you know that you have to stand up for yourself. People can't keep screwing you over if you don't let them. I think you should find new friends who share the same values as you and care about you.

The world is not a nice place. People will treat you like crap if you let them.

There is definitely nothing wrong with you! It sounds like you really need to find some new friends. Don't ever let anyone walk all over you especially something as degrading as spitting in your face! Peer pressure can have an effect on people but a true friend would have never stood by and let someone do that to you! I hate to hear someone say they wish their life would end because of something another person has done! No one is worth that much. Just because you don't get drunk and do drugs doesn't mean you deserve to be treated like crap! You need to find friends you actually have something in common with.

They treat you like that because you are still their friends. Sounds like you need to stop getting walked over, stand up for yourself, and get some new friends. Obviously they aren't your friends if they treat you like that. And you will continue to get treated like that until you stand up for yourself. But ditch those people and go out and meet some new people that are closer to the type of person you are. Life is too short to hang out with people like that. If they want to waste their life, then let them, that's their choice. But don't let them waste yours.

First of all there's nothing wrong with you at all those people are idiots and your room mates an ass for not saying anything to her friend about that incident I mean that's disgusting and completely disrespectful. If you don't like your friends then you should make new friends. Are these friendships you've made worth you feeling the way you do? Your friends are suppose to. Ummm you know make ya happy and bring you up when your down!

You also should talk to your room mate. You know those people are this way because they know that you won't do anything. S0o0o0o0 if you say something are just ditch them when they see then they'll respect you most likely.

Make friends that respect and don't hurt you. If you keep hanging around these people then you'll probably involved in the same things and end doing drugs and excessive drinking as these people do. You want friends who value and respect you and who treat you right!

Nothing is wrong with you. You just have a pretty shitty roommate. You are in the wrong environment. You should move, and get new friends. Not everyone in this world is stupid and does drugs and drinks and spits. You just need to change the people you are around. And for the jerk that spit in your face? Hire a big guy to kick his a**. Then go to the Doctor see if he caused an eye infection and send him the bill. Then tell your roommate to get a backbone and move.
