My boyfriend broke up with me last week and I'm not over it. People told me he broke up with me because he wanted to ask someone else out. What should I do to get over him?
Go get another guy, just do what he is doing. You have to bite the bullet and do it. Just like getting up in the morning... its hard and you really don't wanna do it but you always end up doing it... or you fake sick and stay down... in that case you got him back
Would you prefer he DIDN'T break up with you and see someones else! GETTING OVER HIM is always tough. Just get out there and TRY to forget him. If there is something that you really enjoy doing then do that just like, ALOT! I know the feeling THANK GOD FOR WEIGHT SETS!
Just think about all the ugly moments you've ever had with him. Think of how bad he made you feel when he broke your heart, don't think of the good things. Hang out with your girlfriends, plan a sleep over.
Whatever you do...do not call him or initiate contact with him. It will almost guarantee you won't get back with him. He will probably contact you eventually....Do not let him know how upset you are if you talk to him. Just be nice and pleasant and don't talk about the relationship. If you don't want him back and want to move on...Time will heal that honey. But trust me from experience my boyfriend wanted me back twice now and both times I did not contact him and we are back together. It always works.
Find something to do. Get him out of your head. For some people it's finding another person but that can sometimes be disasterous. It can also be a hobby, exercise, etc. I personally would recommend something you've always wanted to do to improve yourself. Learn a new language, volunteer etc...
Either way, move on. If he can't appreciate who you are then move on. There are plenty of men out there looking for a good woman.
