My ex (as of 2 and a half months ago) boyfriend told me today that he has not told his 3 best friends of our break-up yet. 2 live out of state and the other doesn't, but they are all married, so he doesn't see them much (for them to know I'm not around and be able to ask) But, why wouldn't he tell them? I mean, he says he's hurting over it, so why wouldn't he have talked to them? Even to ask if he made the right decision or something. Is it weird that he hasn't told them? Should I think anything of it?
If all his friends are married, he could be worried about the loss of his stable relationship and how they will react. But if he's hiding the break-up, he could also be severely upset and still attached to you. It is weird he hasn't told them, and it definitely means that something else is going on inside his head.
