OK so I've never really had a boyfriend and everyone that finds this out is shocked or doesn't believe that it is true and I don't know why. I mean I don't find it hard to believe that I've never had a bf. I have a lot of friends and I know that a lot of guys like me and think I'm hot. I've never gone around saying that I've had a boyfriend or that I currently have one, if someone asks me I'll tell them that I've never had one but everyone is always super surprised that I've never had one. A lot of them thought I had one but I don't. Why are they shocked or why do they find it hard to believe that I've never had a bf?

I never had a serious boyfriend until I was 18, as I was waiting for the right guy to be in a relationship with - I'm 21 now and I'm still with my first boyfriend - being picky pays off! .. People were surprised, but it's not like one needs a boyfriend/girlfriend to live a fulfilling life. Maybe they just figured you seemed likeable and assumed you've had previous relationships - hence why they were surprised.

In any case, who cares what people think, just do your thiiing! :)

ha I just got that today, all though I have had a bf. but single now since like damn highschool! sometimes I am so sad I feel like I am wasting my good looking years lol but I can't find a guy that I truly like. I had my first boyfriend at ur age, I mean obv. you are good looking if people are surprised, if you wan't one y don't you start flirting with the guys and just get one if you want. I am sure there is a guy out there that cought your eye? lol

Because you're attractive.

Everybody expects the nerds and the fat unattractive girls to be the ones who have never had a boyfriend/girlfriend.

And on the flip side they expect the attractive people to have had plenty of ex girlfriends and boyfriends.

Why haven't you had a boyfriend anyway?

Are your parents strict and never allowed you to have a BF. Or were you just not interested in having one?

Probably because you are good looking and you have a personality that carries you well. I don't know for a fact but that's what I'm guessing. People tell me that all the time too, well I guess its because I'm in my 20s >_<. Oh well, if you want a boyfriend, at least it shouldnt prove difficult to get one.
