Do girls like bigger guys?

Most girls will say they do, but I don't know if that is the reality. If the guy looks like he exercises, then I would say that girls would be more interested.

The biggest thing for me is I like guys who are funny. Do I care about looks? Yes.

I want a guy who can protect me. i.e. not too scrawny where I feel like I have to protect myself. BUT I want the guy to care about his looks- like plays sports or works out- lives an active life.

So would I date a 400 lb guy? probably not- But you look proportionate. You are tall- which is GREAT and 280 for someone that tall seems pretty normal.

Honestly, it really depends on the girl. Everyone has different preferences, as do men. Personally, I'm a short girl, and being with a tall man is always amusing because getting on my tiptoes to kiss them adds for humor but truly, I've dated tall, average, and short guys, and it makes zero difference to me. It's about quality, not quantity.

i like bigger guys and alotta times I think they can be cuteer me and my besst friend both think so even though she is older than me, lol, but and just be sassy ya know and great around your friends be interestedd~!

I honestly LOVE bigger guys but can never get them to talk to me. I have no clue why I talk to hem and flirt with them too. DO bigger guys don't think they have a chance with smaller girls?

I am more attracted to bigger guys. I like height, and just a broader frame -- it makes me feel smaller and more comfortable. Most girls I know as well prefer men who are anatomically larger than they are.

Then again - it does varies among individuals somewhat

I don't see a problem with it. Most big guys are adorable! I would hate to be judged because of my weight & height, so it's not fair for others. I am sure girls will go crazy over you!

Big guys who are weight/height proportionate are great. I totally dig them. But if they are out of shape and lethargic, no. If they are fit and muscular (not like a body builder but they have muscle tone) I don't care if they have a little bit of padding on top of the muscle.

I did not understand why you thought personality was B.S. to you? I don't care how good looking a guy is or hot or anything, if he is a jerk with no manners, he is not up for consideration.

Girls like healthy looking bodies, not sloppy looking ones. Big is not unattractive as long as you are clean, decent, and healthy. Personally, I've always liked bigger guys.

Im a small girl, 4'11'' and 110lbs, however I love bigger guys. Not over weight, but within healthy/normal range. I do not need a guy with abs of steel, he doesn't have to be a gym nut or a health freak. He just needs to be confident with himself and not lazy. I have never dated a guy smaller then 5'10''. I am generally attracted to guys over 6' and I am totally turned off by skinny guys. I want to feel protected by my man.

A guy I REALLY like is around ur size, maybe a little lighter, he looks good to me, "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" Some guys wouldn't look good skinny, I know he wouldn't, he looks good because he's thicker. It just depends on the guy, if you look good ur size then don't let a number hold you back, if you look like you need to lose weight, then loze weight. My guy wouldn't be the same if he where buff or skinny, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks that, when I introduce him to my girl friends they always comment to me afterward how he looks good. peoples bodies are different, as you said, I don't think I would look good if I were as skinny as some girls, I'm big boned, or big framed, wutever, I'm not overweight, and I know I don't look bad because when I tell people how much I weigh (I really don't care, it's just a number) they are always like, no way, you look 20 lbs lighter. so wutever, you can look good big, or bigger than most, you are unique.

See, I never thought of it as liking fat vs thin. What I mean is people act like there is only fat or thin. And you are attracted to one and not the other. I don't believe that. I know guys who only dated thin girls but admitted that if they liked a girl who was bigger, they would date her with no problem. Or you may only date white girls but if you saw a black girl who was a great person, you would have no problem dating her.

I'm like that with guys. I have never looked at a big guy and not been attracted to him cause of his weight. But I've never ended up with a big guy. But the weight is never a turn off. I have fantasized about being with a big guy but I have never met one who I was attracted to their personality. That does mean they have bad personalities, I just mean the guys I knew who happened to be big, who they were or what they were into, didn't interest me. Just like with some thinner guys.

One of my friends only dates big guys. Some are thick, some just fat. But she likes feeling "protected" and likes that in a big guy.

I think we all act like we have an 'ideal" but I don't think I've ever dated anyone who looked like what I'd say my ideal is. They were really good looking guys but just not what I would say is my cut and dry ideal. Cause honestly, most people really do fall for the person. And in anyone you fall for, there is usually one or two things physically that aren't the ideal. But you care so much about the person those things don't matter.

So I just think it's a matter of, if you don't typical flock to something, like a bigger person, you can still fall for that person.

I would never think twice about being with a big guy if I liked him as a person.

i'm intimidated by guys who are too big. I have only dated guys who are about my weight and thin or a bit muscular or toned. I'm 5'7 and I'm thin but yeah, I find some whom are bigger really hot but I get approached more by guys who are around 5'7 or 6'3 idk. yep

just because a guys got abs and super fit doesn't mean he'd get more woman.. if anything he's super into himself and concieted while bigger guys tend to be sweeter! in my opinion ofcourse.

I don't really like guys that are sloppy fat. I can like a guy that is big as long as he is thick and has muscle tone and not just fat. I feel like if a guy is gonna want a girl with a nice body then he should have one too.

I think it just depends on the kind of girl you are try to be with. I'm not a stickler on a guys size. I'm pretty petite myself and fairly athletic so pretty much most people are larger than me, lol. I'm the lame girl who goes more for personality type, lol, and mine is pretty out there so I can either run ya off or pull ya in. Looks fad so they aren't top priority. I've dated guys from super skinny to heavier, conservative to heavily tattooed. As long as you have self confidence.

I went to high school with guys that averaged 6'-6'7 and almost always 200+ pounds (or more depending on how tall they were). I've always been partial to the "teddy bear" kinda guys (As I've nicknamed you fellas). As long as the guy is healthy, I don't mind at all. If anything, I feel incredibly safe and secure when I hug them.

Judging from your face shot, you look healthy. Be confident in yourself and your body, and a girl is going to pick up on that. We want to be with a guy who is confident, whether he's 160, 260, or even 360 pounds.

Personally, I don't. But that's just my opinion, there are girls out there who like big guys or guys with chub. To me a guy who is overweight just means he is unhealthy. It means he doesn't really care much about his health and is pretty lazy. Again, that's just my opinion. I am pretty fit myself and love being active.

Some girls do, but personally I can't stand huge guys (height or weight). I'm pretty tiny and weigh just over 100 lbs. I like guys who aren't too tall and have more of an athletic build.
But, personality is a huge factor. In the past I have liked a bigger guy. It all depends on the person.

Honestly, I like bigger guys, that is if (like you said) they are weight-height proportionate. Some guys look better as a bigger guy than smaller. I don't really care what others care about him, but as long as he's attractive to me.

What does a guy have to have? hmmm, well that list can get pretty long. He has to be an all around nice guy who everybody loves, and is respectful towards the ladies. I have to feel safe and comfortable around him. He has to have somewhat of a sense of humor. I have to be able to have fun with him.

I like bigger guys. In fact, I am involved with a guy who is 6 foot 5 and probably weighs about 250. He is not the best looking guy I have ever been with, but he is definitely the sexiest. It is not just about his size, but it is part of it. For me it is the whole package.

I really like bigger guys, I'm only 5'1 and my friends joke that I have a weight requirement LOL... Two of my ex's are 6'4 and it's really hard for me to be attracted to guys that are anything shorter than 5'7 but hey when a guy has a great attitude it still works sometimes, so the big guys that make me laugh my ass off are the perfect guy, as far as changing things about yourself as long as ur not disgusting and you smell good then there's nothing you should need to change because if a girls going to like you she will regardless

It all depends on the girl. You can jump through hoops all you want to try to get a certain girl, but when it comes down to it, it's about her. Is she willing to go against the norm of "a man has to have a six-pack to be attractive." I wouldn't have a second thought of dating someone your size, and I find myself to be a very attractive, successful person, both inside and out. Perhaps its the "grab the bull by the horns" personality that I have, I couldn't care less what someone looks like, or what outsiders think of me, if there's chemistry, I'd go for it. I bet your just surrounded by girls who are self-centered, and think they're holier-than-thou. Just have confidence. You can look like you just crawled out of bed, but if you have confidence next to a typical "hot" guy who has none, the girls are going to be looking at you for sure. Just remember that you can get anyone you want, if they don't want you, their loss. They missed out on you, and you can happily move onto the next.

my boyfriend is not big but not small...but I have dated bigger guys. & there have been bigger guys that I thought were attractive but nothing ever happened. Maybe the girl for you is right in front of you but you just havnt realized it yet. Loosing a little bit of weight may help but maybe a change of cloths or hair cut or something of that sort. I'm very paticular when it comes to guys cloths hair teeth & shoes...it don't matter much to me about weight. I hope this helps. good luck

when I was younger I had a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge crush on this guy, and I still like him! he's a bigger guy but I do find him attractive! He has lost some weight in the past few years, but I always did think he was attractive! There's tons of girls out there who find bigger guys attractive, so no worries! :]

My husband isn't bigger weight size, but is height size. He's 6'6" but very skinng...just around 200lbs. I know many girls were intimidated by his height and...lack of being muscular lol. I've been with both skinny and bigger guys. I do admit looks count...but I guess weight and height are the two that don't really matter to me much. They never really have.

I sure hope not, I like being small and cuddly.

I am proof that girls do like us bigger guys. I am 6-5' and 275lbs my fiance is 135lbs and she is head over heals with me. I think us bigger guys offer security to girls. It makes them feel safe to be around and with us. So, the answer is yes.

I used to weigh about 140lbs at 6'5", bulked up over several years to 260lbs.. a lot of people said I was too big. I'm around 210lbs now.. I'd like to tone up just a bit more then hold that weight. It's on the slim side given my height but its a weight I'm happy at.

The protective thing works well, unless you're cocky and aggressive with it. Protective, confident and calm seems to be the way to go. Plus show your girl you're confident and strong with the world but you still need her, it's ok for her to know you're a softie but don't tell the whole world lol.
