What makes us needy and whiny? How much is too much calling and/or texting?
For example, I get really weird about calling or texting my guy (we are just dating) because I don't want him to think I'm needy or bothering him too much.
Every time I text him he always, I mean always, texts me back if start the convo. Last night I text him and he didn't respond but I didn't make a big deal out of it. This morning I text him again and asked him if he was alright and he asked why. I said because he always texts me back and he had me spoiled.
He didn't text me back but I don't think it's a big deal because he was at work.
So, would it be to needy if I text him tonight or should I let him text me?

I go through the same thing with a guy friend .. we both use 2 have feelings 4 each other.. I text him and majority of the time he texts me back.. but there have been a couple of times when he hasn't and I have thought if I'm being too clingy ... then I realized who he is as a person if he thinks your over doing it he'll tell you. I will apply that 2 you and the guy your seeing if its over kill don't you think he would let you know. If he's on your mind .. text him .. but start letting him text you more 2 so you don't feel weird .. its nothing wrong with saying hi its good bye that sucks
If you are together. you should call each other every day at least a few times a day I don't feel that needy but just wondering how the person you are dating is doing
Just a question for the guys, how do you define "neediness" in a girlfriend? What's the difference between just being affectionate from being needy?
