i love music and it's a definite plus if a guy can play an instrument. of course in particular the guitar. I'm a classical/spanish guitar player and it's nice to know that they have the passion and dedication for music. I don't care much for the guy being in a rock band part, but it's definitely attractive if he can keep up and play at my level.

generally people like music and I think that a lot of girls are more likely to fall for musicians because it usually generates more topics to talk about and can make the relationship a lot more interesting. personally I like guys who are musicians, especially ones who can sing because I love music yet I cannot sing a note at all. also if there is ever a specific girl you really like I would definitely recommend writing a song and singing/playing it to her. that is one the most romantic things ever

I myself am dating a guitarist in a band.
I'm very in touch with myself and others emotionally.
So just knowing that he found a passion and a way
of expressing himself, somehow has me seeing
him in such an amazing light. He's gorgeous, charismatic,
spontaneous, and has an amazing sense of humor.
I couldn't begin to explain it.
But his guitar, oh boy, it just adds into the mix. haha.
So it's not always just the fact that they're in a band or are a musician.
Alot of other factors play into the mix.

I think a lot can be expressed through music so I listen to everything. Most people just think I have no preference, but musicians get what I mean. Plus musicians seem really down to earth and approachable.

I personally prefer guys who play bass though. They always come across as the mellow kid in the band. And I went to high school with a guy who played bass, and there was something about the way his hands moved when he played that all the girls loved.

I play guitar, clarinet, bass and have been known to wander into the wonderful world of piano - but not too far. As such - musicians seem like the kind of people I could easily have common ground with; something to start conversation.
A lot of musicians meet girls at their gigs - guys in a band are approachable - it's easy for a girl to walk up and say "Great show guys" or something along those lines, which is a lot easier than walking up to some random guy on the street who just happened to catch their eye.
Also - if a guy is performing, there has to be a sort of confidence there, but one which is generally different to the kind of cocky confidence we see from guys "biggin'" themselves up to their friends.
Talent is always a good thing. For people who don't know how to play an instrument it can seem amazing, and for people that do they realize that you have to stick at it and not give up easily to become good. Which is also attractive in a guy.

Of course - not every girl is attracted to the musician type. It's all personal taste; but playing an instrument does tend to make guys more approachable - at least in my experience.

i like musicians but only like indie musicians like the likes of the arctic monkeys,the klaxons,the killers etc. don't know what happened but the last few months I'm just like in love with them lol

I like guys who are passionate about something. Most musicians are really passionate about what they do.

i love musicians! I think there are a lot of different things that someone could like.but I LOVE music and someone that makes music is just super hot for me

okay, I myself, actually likes musicians. actually I play guitar. I don't exactly know why. maybe because girls like music or maybe they find the guys that are playing cool. in my case, I like them, especially the drummer and the guitarist, because I want to play those too. and seeing them play, seems they're so good at it and I want to be someday be that good.
