Why do my friend's care so much

They hate him because they realize that you like him a lot and he doesn't like them. They could be jelous.. I mean think about it, why would you hate someone that you havnt even talked to unless you hate something that they were doing.. and no.. your freinds don't know what's right for you, come on.. lol you kno what is right for you and you obviously have some feelings for him, if you don't give him a chance, or at least get to know him regardless of what everyone thinks.. you might be asking yourself forever. don't let your shallow freinds dictate who you associate with, sorry but they seem really immature. the sort of people id probably cut my eyes at :S you go girl! get ur man, he seems to like yu a ton :)

I say, date who you want to date. If you like this guy, then go ahead and date him! Give him a chance!

Unless this guy is a true JERK, mean to you, or not compatible with you, I would just forget what your friends say and date the dude.

It's true, sometimes your friends DO know you better, and know which guys are good for you, and which ones aren't. BUT, if their reasons for disliking this guy is strictly based on shallow vain reasons, then forget them and their judgements! YOU will be the one dating him, not your friends.

I say give him a chance. So his teeth aren't perfect. That doesn't mean anything, he could be a really nice guy. Your friends may be looking out for you, but only you know what's really the best for you.

My boyfriend isn't someone that a lot of girls would take a second look at; he's not very thin, wasn't real popular in school, and doesn't care to dress real nice for the most part. However, he's one of the nicest guys I know, and I consider myself very lucky to have him.

If your friends would get mad or uspet just because you'd date him, then they aren't that good of friends.

Your friends are being shallow and don't want you to date him because his imperfect teeth will mess up their image of being perfect hot cheerleaders.

you have a choice, either date this guy and possibly mess up your relationship with your friends. You might have to deal with gossip and maybe (hopefully not) them not wanting to hang out with you as much, but if that happens they weren't your true friends anyway.

Or you could give him a chance and hopefully everything will work out. I think for your happiness you should do what's best for you.

If you like him go for it because if the only reason your friends don't like him is because he's in the band and not the quarter back of the football team they're pretty lame. Besides the band does have some pretty cute guys and most of them hold pretty high GPAs. :p

Anyways:

Find out your friends concerns and try and figure out why they hate him if its because what I said before then trust your own judgement and if they're really your friends they'll stick with you and respect your decision
