Tallness in men

personally, I don't think that I could ever date any one shorter than 5'10, but then again, I'm 5'9 1/2 so basically I'm saying that I wouldn't date any one shorter than me. however, that's because of my own insecurities. I know a lot of girls who wouldn't like to date someone shorter than them but most girls/women are also shorter than 5'8. so yes, height often matters, but only in the sense that most girls like guys who are taller than them. if you're taller, you're golden : ).

and btw, the girl kinda sounds way shallow, I'm sure you can do better.

Lol...nothing to worry about! I like tall men, but I've dated men as short as 5'6" and it was nothing of a turn off. More important than height (as far as looks go, excluding personality and intelligence) is fitness. As long as he isn't so skinny you could blow him over with a feather or obese, then he should be fine! And the best part is that, instead of being one of your "unchangeables" like height, fitness level can always be increased by exercise!
