Why some men think that being tall is masculine?

Personally I think that being tall is attractive for both boys and girls. Tall girls have beautiful long leg and figure. If tall girls and short guys exist than I don't see how it can be masculine.

It doesn't matter what you personally think. Masculinity is perceived as more masculine and attractive to women. It is a well studied and well accepted fact in human science.

no better way to word it but just my opinion buuuuuuuuuut... height never had anything to do with masculinity. There are many tall women who aren't even close to being masculine and short women who are, same goes for men. Humans come in different shapes, sizes, and flavors...

I will say I have met a lot of women who definitely prefer men to be taller in relationship, same for guys who prefer shorter women, so there is something there but its all based on the individuals perspective.

Masculinity isn't always about size. An immature tall guy isn't masculine. A tall guy that's a femboy or crossdresses isn't masculine either. A tall guy thats an asshole isn't masculine. I could go on. If you want to base masculinity off by size then yeah I guess tall men are masculine in that sense, but a guy that acts like a child will never be masculine.

I'm 6ft tall and I am usually attracted to women about 5ft, either two inches taller or shorter than 5ft or of 5 ft exactly. I just like petite women.

Most of the time I have only ever been gazed at by petite women. Average height women or tall women or taller than me never gazed. But the 5ft women have always looked my way. Hmm.

It’s perceived as being masculine but it doesn’t make you masculine. It’s more like an “in” than a “set in stone” thing for getting women.
