Should you try to contact a guy if he says "I hope we meet again soon"?

just message him first, don't friend request yet...just be like it was great meeting you and I wanted to stay in contact with you, as well. We didn't exchange numbers, so I figured this was the best way to get in touch with you. (This way...the convo is between you and him only, nobody else can see if because its not a wall post.)

People are hypersensitive when it comes to friend requests...however, I'm a guy and I kind of get skeptical of the friend request...ONLY when it's someone I don't know.

Here's my rule of thumb for Facebook...Don't be too quick to Facebook request people.

Always meet someone in person first...and get to know what their deal is

it's better for you to know someone else personally first before you friend request them.

If you two hit it off well, then request him, but in truth Facebook acts as a barrier and a connector.

If you two click and everything is great...I'd suggest not to communicate via Facebook through wall posts or anything. I've been blackmailed once because of Facebook in this type of situation and it ruined everything.

Keep everything between you and him...If you wanna talk to him, call him or just chill with him. Don't use Facebook as a way to communicate. Add him as a friend though.

There are jealous people out there, especially in High school, who love drama and would love to read the wall posts and see what's going on. Trust me, it happened to me and I will NEVER let it happen again.

Don't let yourself become the center of all the gossip. Enjoy yourself and be happy.

Make sure not to be boring and say, "Hi. What's up?", like every girl before you did.

You want to lure him and make him message you first every time, not the other way around. In other words, you want control.

The first message should be a trap to lure him in. It essence, it should be a cliffhanger. For example, and you can use this if you want, "I think you're a four letter word. You have 4 guesses, good luck."

And don't say anything else.
