There's this guy at work that I'm very attracted to. In the beginning I thought he was attracted to me as well (he looks at me a lot, very intensely). Now I'm not sure because he doesn't really make an effort to talk to me (he's shy around me). Anyway. Sometimes when we're working together he'll have to call me to get through to his supervisor, and almost every time he talks to me he laughs. Usually I'm making a joke but nobody else does a little laugh when they say bye to me.

Tell him you've had enough of his mocking boorishness, and that for 20 cents you'd slap him with a rancid fish head! Threaten to expose his childish and pinheaded behavior to your superiors unless he takes you to dinner and a movie. If this doesn't work, move on to somone more interesting.

sorry to tell you but it really does not mean anything if he laughs a lot. the staring at you intensely could be an indication, but not the laughter. if you want to be sure you have to take the next step and go out with him.
