Do guys like it when girls worry?

This guy I like text me and told me he had a bad fall and had to get stitches and staples in his back. He told me it was pretty gruesome so naturally I worried. I asked him if he was still going to go work or if he was going to rest. He said that the doctor requires that he rest at least a week but he's too busy and will be going to work. Kept saying he's fine. I told him I'm worried about him and he said it was only a dozen or so staples! Uk that makes me worry more! Do you guys like it when we worry like we do?! I'm a nervous wreck! I wish he stay home !

The guys I know don't like the "too much worry" but they still love to know that you care about them or even worry. If I were you, I would try to convince him to rest, if he doesn't want to and all my tries have failed, well then when he comes from work he should find some good care and good food and stuffs just to cheer him up a little!

In response to your original question... Yes, we like it when you care.

But it also seems like he's trying to act super macho by telling you how bad it is and that he's gonna suffer through it at work hahahaha. Sorry to him if I just called him out but it sounds like something I'd do lol.

  Yes! He's totally acting super macho! Why though? He kept saying the darn procedure was gruesome and he's all sewn up yet he'll be fine, ignore the doctor and go to work anyway.

  It's an ego boost and also proves we're tough. It's about taking a major injury to your body and not showing weakness, also that nothing can keep us down..

  Maybe not *completely* different but I was trying to say they aren't synonymous.
  
  If you care about someone, it's more towards love, concern, (positive words). You generally have to feel something towards the person to care about them on a deeper level.
  
  Worry is more based off of a fear for their safety and well being.
  
  Your question was "do guys like it when girls worry." I was trying to say maybe not "worry" but we like it when you have some sort of connection and "care" about us.

  I'm just trying to put myself in his shoes and talking to a girl that I like.
  
  If I get the chance to show that I'm tough, manly, etc to her then I'll take it... even if it happened to be because of an unintentional fall & stitches. At the same time, it would make me feel good that she cares about me. But I wouldn't say it just to have her fear for my safety.

  Yea...he's definitely overly acting macho like its nothing. I swear, if his arm was bitten off by a shark he'd say it was nothing! So from what you're saying, he's (through the pain) relishing in the fact that he can be manly and show his manliness and as well as content at the fact that I worry AND care?!

yeah we really like that but but apart from that every-one likes a little affection from the people he likes. if that were me I would use that to get a little closer to you lol

  I wish he would stay home but he won't. Said he'll just take an aspirin and will be fine. I told him that he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone and that if he feels sick or tired to stop and go home! He kept saying it was gross but hell be fine, made sure the stapled him a lot. Why must guys be so macho?There's nothing "weak" about saying that you hurt and need rest! I'm worried sick!
