Watch what size portions you eat; try to cut out as much sugar and excess bread as you can; drink only water, tea or coffee; and never skip a meal. The body works best when the "furnace" is running on "low" all day. 3 small meals, plus a handful of nuts or fruit in between meals is the way to go! My mom lost 25 pounds in 4 months that way, and she has tons more energy.
#2 is the worst thing you could do. when you don't eat your metabolism drops dramatically s when you finally do eat, your body automatically stores all the calories within the food. just eat 3 balanced meals a day and exercise at least 5 times a wk. this will keep you not only healthy but trim also.
i would definitely recommend #3. not only will it be a consistent cardio routine, but it's healthy and fun for your dog too. :) however, 25 jumping jacks before you eat won't hurt anything. if anything, exercise seems to decrease appetite in some people, so you may end up eating less.
If you want to lose weight, you need to eat. When you don't eat, your metabolism goes down, because your body doesn't know when it's going ot eat next, so it stores whatever you eat. If you eat a bunch of small healthy meals throughout the day, your metabolism goes up. But any kind of physical exercise that burns calories is good.
definitely #3. maybe even take your dog for a jog or for longer than 25 minutes or maybe 2x per day.
also try swimming, taking the stairs rather than the elevator & drink lots & lots of water (2L/day)

Firstly it'd prob be better if you worked out after you ate.
Secondly if you eat nothing then your body will hold onto the fat, you need to eat healthy so your metabolism will speed up to burn the body fat.
Third, walking is good cardio and it'd be good to do.
i'd choose to walk the dog because doing jumping jacks would make me sick and I can't eat breakfast right away. I would not starve myself because it actually slows your metabolism down
# 3, Walking, Jogging anything like that is good. Skipping a meal not so good, and number 1 isn't really going to do much of anything.
#3. #1 won't do anything and #2 will only work until you decide to start eating again, then the weight will fly back.
#3 is the best option. #2 is a bad idea, you should have three meals everyday. #1 wouldn't make much of a difference
#3 is the best option. #2 is a horrible idea, and will actually prevent you from losing any weight by putting your body into starvation mode. You can do #1 anyway, it's not a bad idea. But #3 is definitely the most effective.
Do both 1 and 3. Deffinetaly not number 2.
