Do guys listen to gossip?

only stupid people heed to scuttlebutts and gossips,whether the content of the matter be true or false,i will never trust what others say,until I hear the person I suspected myself,no matter how classified the info was,even if it was between the 2 of us and now others know and talk about it,i will get tot he bottom of it.its me that won't judge,and I'm an atheist for the sake of argument I revealed that,so what's the atheist to religious ratio?i believe wise guys don't care.

I always try and get my own opinions. First impressions are everything. If I am already familiar with the girl, I established my opinions pretty quick. I find that gossip is simply harsh rumors. I don't "listen" to the gossip, but will take note of things. If I hear something that is disheartening, and actually bothers me, I will try and get the truth from the girl. I am really not one for rumors/gossip.

It would depend on the source and how bad the gossip is, generally if it's minor from random sources I just take it in with a grain of salt, but if it's something major I generally use my sources to find out if it's true as well as asking her up front about it (depending on how touchy the topic is, if it's a rather sensitive one, I'll be more tactful about broaching the subject).

If the source is one of my close friends (by close I mean one of my friends who I have known for 5+ years) and they directly witnessed whatever happened or was said to have happened, I'll generally heed their warning or words, but it still doesn't mean it will stop me from pursuing a girl by any means, unless it's something that is a deal breaker for me.

I pay a little attention to it. I know how girls can be but as they say, all lies start from a truth. I do what I can not to judge on what I have heard, just use it to be prepared for what I might find.

Yes, guys do pay attention to it. Guys don't like girls that talk a lot about other people it just brings problems. It is a turn off. They don't want a girl that is talking about somebody andthat nobody likes.

Guys may hear the gossip but normally don't pay attention to it. It's a very female thing, to gossip, and especially about the things that women gossip about, those topics don't interest guys.
