Is it true that deep inside guys do enjoy gossiping?

No hate folks- just curious if this is true. Just say no if it’s not. Since guys always say they hate it when a girl gossips a lot.. i heard that they do enjoy it, and that they even gossip more than girls- only when its done with people they’re close enough to (gf maybe? Or close guy friends).

They sure do. I'm kind of a snob and they keep on gossiping about me behind my back. Kind of insulting and weird because I could hear them. It's as if they're doing it purpose.
They also kinda like to gossip about their crushes. I've heard them 'cause they're kinda loud sometimes, especially when one of them is kind of on the "hot seat".
If one also confesses to a guy or is obviously crushing on a guy, news spread fast around his friends.
I'm talking about college guys I've encountered so far. Still, I think they do it even when they're older and have jobs.

Guys have a different system.

Most decent men are okay with confiding in one or two close friends about normal gossip topics. The unspoken but universally understood rules include that whatever is said between these men can never be repeated.

Boys who are pussies, fuckbois, and girls seem to have this endless whisper game going on and give a second meaning to loose lips.

Yeah, probably some guys do like gossip or gossiping.

I think it's a bit tawdry, and if I notice a certain person doing it all the time, then I think they're more than a bit tawdry. They're unpleasant.

You should find something else to think about besides other people's misfortunes. I have a very low opinion of people who are amused by suffering and pain.

Some of the guys I know gossip and some do not. Most of my guy friend's don't gossip. I have some guy friends who gossip - but they are people I don't talk to very often.
