Am I fat?

Question

I am 5'4", I weigh 133, I wear size 5-7, my hips are some what big, and my boobs aren't that big. Would I be considered fat?

Your Body Mass Index (BMI) is calculated as follows,

BMI = (Weight in Pounds / ( (Height in Inches)^2) ) * 703

In your instance you have a BMI of 22.8. which falls within the normal weight range (BMI 18.5 -> 24.9). For children and teens the numbers are also sometimes expressed as a percentile which plays out as follows - Normal 5% to 85%, Risk of Overweight 85% - 95%, 95%+ Overweight.

Your particular percentile is around 74% so again you are in the very normal weight range and not even within the risk of overweight range.

Long story short, you are definitely /NOT/ fat regardless of what others may tell you. As the others said, everyone wears their weight differently. If you are unhappy with your thighs then you may want to look into specific exercises for the thighs but don't do them because you think you are fat, do them to sculpt or simply to make /yourself/ feel better.

Yes. Sorry, but I would probably consider you fat. But you know, who cares, a great personality makes up for a lot of physical issues (hell, look at jordan sparks, I think she is chubby, but still attractive).

that sounds like a healthy size. don't get too caught up about it, there are plenty of people way bigger than you. Also, it depends on the person, muscle weighs more than fat, so weight isn't even always an accurate measurement. (bmi--body mass index-- is a bit more reliable).

if it makes you feel any better, there are people on america's next top model who weigh just the same as you. it's honestly not that big of a deal.

I have looked on a BMI calculator and the result was that you are the ideal weight for your height. Your BMI is 22.5 which is perfect. A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 means your weight is spot on.

Some people just carry their weight on their hips and some don't. I am slim-hipped but big busted.

You are not fat at all.

Um, I am getting a mental picture of you, and I'm thinking you would be curvy or "thick". Definitely not fat, but a curvy cute figure. As long as you're healthy and happy its all good.

Omg you are not fat you have the perfect weight for ur height. and if you think ur fat and you wanna lose weight go to to the health clinic b4 you start throwing up ur food 2 lose weight
