If I said I love your face -- is he going to think I said I love you?

my friends and I say to each other, "love your face"!

i said it to my boyfriend on Saturday when drunk and Sunday morning...and now I wonder if he translated it as "i love you"... :\

he just laughed and said it was funny the way I said it with my baby voice, lol...

i think I might've f'd that up, cause I care about him a lot, but love? who knows...

what would you think?

I would think that you were drunk and almost said "I love you" but translated it to "I love your face" to cover up your mistake. If you care about him alot, let him know "you don't have to say it back, but I love you"

I would say a safe time frame for that would be 6-8 months.. anything sooner seems superficial.

  this saturday will be 6 months since I met him...and we pretty much started dating right away, but it's taken me longer to actually realize and say it....
  
  i introduced him as my friend on saturday night...and now I say boyfriend...

  Isn't it safe to say that he sees you do this with friends and would accept that he is now considered a friend also? I mean.. you do it with all your friends.

You were drunk and as he laughed it off, I would assume that he really got it for what it was meant. A compliment about his face ;)

Don't worry about it simply continue the way you were doing up till now ;)
