Is it possible to click with someone from a different country? Yes. But before you tie the knot or even start a relationship, you should find out how different you are from your respective cultures. I've had some people tell me that it doesn't matter where your partner comes from because love conquers all (not a direct quote) and I must vehemently disagree. No matter how much you think you love someone, there are still going to be compromises you'll have to make and I think much more so in a situation where cultures clash.
If I wasn't in a relationship now, I probably would eventually find a guy in a different country because of what I want my lifestyle to be (lots of world traveling). Even then, I would probably end up with someone from a western (Europe/North America) background/heritage because I know it would be easier for us in the long run culturally speaking.

I plan to study abroad in Ireland junior year to "take a break" from America (yes, that's really my main reason for going). Obviously my goal isn't to meet a guy, but I wouldn't be against it.
