it could be potential bad for her health wise. its possible that talking to you gives get a minor panic attack in which she starts to hyperventalate making it hard for her to breath.

if this continues after to get to know her better, you might have to talk to her about how she can be more confortable around you. because hyperventaling leaves you short of breath becauase you aren't getting enough oxygen into your system.
