I'm nervous about wearing lingerie for my boyfriend... What should I do?

Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 9 months and I have never done anything like this before, ever. I'm not the skinniest girl and he always makes fun of my 'big bum' but says it's a good thing... Fyi, big doesn't sound like a good thing. BUT. One time we went to the rippers and the girl had this white outfit on. She looked amazing, and he made the comment about how good she looked and how into white he is. He was getting pretty pumped up about seeing her. The white just did something for him. So it made me think.. Is this a hint? So now I'm considering doing this for him but I don't know if it'll be the right thing to do... I'm not confident at all. Hell, I think I'm not attractive because he doesn't say anything very much. He's a very open guy - will say what he thinks about other girls but almost never about me. If I thought he was into me a bit more I'd have more confidence.. So, should I do it? Will it be a good idea? Please help me. :(

There are plenty of guys that like big butts. Not all guys like super skinny girls. & just because he finds another girl attractive doesn't mean he doesn't find you attractive. You're slightly overthinking things.

Well your an absolutely GORGEOUS girl from wht I can see in your picture...may I ask how soon into the relationship did you start having sex with him?how often do you and him have sex?

  Well we were having sex a few days into it. But its because we've been seeing each other before, like last summer, and we hooked up then so it wasn't completely weird, right? And we do everyday, at least.

  And I agree - you are gorgeous. He's a jerk for not telling you this every day! It almost sounds like he's trying to beat you down purposely and make you feel bad about yourself so he'll feel better about himself.

  You never know I guess? When I finally got really upset he started to call me beautiful but now its hard to believe anything he says about that subject? I feel like if I did go out and buy this stuff I would be gettiing embarassed and he would maybe turn me down or laugh. I mean, it happens. I'm not the 'hot girlfriend' or anything. If I was that hot blond that him and all his friends were crazy about then I'd do it! But I feel like it's just not something I should do...

  Well then I suggest you do the lingerie thing and depending on his reaction take it from therr..if he seems like he's pretending to be nice to you while your wearing it then your should do your best to forget about him

  It's sad that he was so into this girl. I doubt it had a lot to do with the white. It probably had more to do with her taking her clothes off. If he comments a lot on other girls but not about you, he's a jerk. It sounds like subtle abuse. I'd consider leaving him.

  He's always been like this... I dunno. He's not the type to be tied down. He's been screwed over a lot and we almost didin't date. But we do have a lot of history. I've liked him sicne grade 7 for god sakes! So when we made it offical I was so excited. BUT he still doesn't know what bugs me, you know? He doesn't realize how insecure I am so when he says that my friends 'absolutely gorgeous' I feel horrible. Then he always teases me about my ass.

  We've been to the strippers a lot with all our friends so I don't think it was so much seeing her naked. It's kinda normal now. But he went insane when she came out in the white (she wasn't the prettiest girl so it was probably the white).

  IMHO - You need to be with someone that makes you feel good about yourself and doesn't tease you. I haven't been to a strip club since I've been with my current girlfriend of about 1-1/2 years (and rarely went before that) because I think it's disrespectful. My girlfriend is pretty, not beautiful or gorgeous but to me she is gorgeous because she's such a nice, caring person. It's not always about looks. But your boyfriend seems to be more into looks than anything. Seriously - you deserve better!
