Tomboy or girly girl?

Question

I know that girly girls and tomboys are totally different but do girl girls have to be so obsessed with there looks. Like breaking a nail or things.

whatever a person wants to be, that is what they're going to be. it's like a facade so it isn't real. I'v'e been a goth chick, a preppy one, a tomboyish one and a girly girl one. right now I'm a girly girl one-i don't mind taking care of how I look and colour coordinating, getting my nails done. it really depends on how you own it and how confident you are.

I'd prefer a woman with some tomboy qualities, even if she's not a total tom girl. Like you said, I don't want her freaking out and ruining the day if she breaks a nail. I'd rather be with someone who is not afraid to roll her sleeves up and get a little dirty...

i like a tomboy over a girly girl definitely but ideally she would be able to clean up well and look like a lady on special occasions and when called for.  tomboys are definitely waaaaaay cooler and better though, and id date one over a girly girl any day.

What people call a "tom boy" is just a girl acting like her self. Girly girls to me are boring as hell,  they don't think for themselves they won't do  anything they just want to sit there and be "pretty" and think that's enough. You might as well be dead, girly girls have 0 personality I won't even hang out with them they are a plague on society

I prefer a tomboy who knows how to clean herself up and look feminine when the time is appropriate. That includes knowing feminine mannerisms, walks, stances, speech, etc. But if that's not called for, let's mix it up in jeans and tees.

I don't care if she likes sports or plays them but she has to dress like a girl.

I prefer the girly girl though because she cares about how she looks and they're more feminine and that's what guys are attracted to.
