Why do some guys feel there is no need to trim their fingernails?

some guys keep it long for working reasons like guitarists and ones that work with sensitive and fragile tiny stuff, but once again you never really need to keep them long, with guitars you can use a pick and seeing long-nailed musicians and singers is just gross and sets me off the whole song or show... some guys chew on their nails EW EW EW and some other keep their pinkies nails longer because they think it's a sexy trend FAIL! and EW EW!

And I think the only way to set a guy off that nasty habit is to get an attractive girl to point it out to him, only then he'd start caring about his nails. Long nails in girls (especially those teeny ones that try to look slutty EW EW EW) are also a major turn off to me.

You're supposed to have SOME white. It's not healthy to cut it all the way down.
