I'm asian and have a natural paleness. I like being tan, but once winter rolls around, I lose it and turn back to my natural lighter skin. Those of you guys who are attracted to Asians or at least have an opinion on this, do you prefer Asian girls who have their natural paleness or are they more attractive when they have a tan? Explain.
Pale skin, in my opinion, is better. It contrasts dark hair and eyes, and really brings out a person's features.
Tanning I am against in general, as it destroys the skin over time. I'd much rather look like I'm 35 when I am 50 years old, instead of looking 70 years old. I've seen way too many people who've tanned their whole life, and the don't look very appealing.
Either way Asian girls are cute. Being pale is a lot better than being too tanned like most of the girls that work at tanning salons, it looks stupid and fake
Personally, I think that whether a girl is tan or not makes a difference in their attractiveness. But it depends on the specific girl if they look better with or without it. In general, I think that Asian girls who have a darker skin tone to begin with look good when they get a tan. Those with pale skin to start are just as attractive without a tan.
Either way is fine. I definately don't think a girl is any more or any less attractive simply based on whether or not she is tanned. Tan lines are a completely different story, but aside from that both are fine.
In Asia, I know that women tend to try to be pale. But I guess in American a lot of people aspire to be tan. I really don't think it matters that much because I'm white, and very pale, and as far as I know it's never held me back. If you think you look a little washed out, though, just put on some peach cream blush or something. Don't make it too purply-lavender-pink or you could look weird. Asians tend to have warm-toned skin that works better with peach colors.
I'm trying to be PC about this, so please nobody get offended!
I think it depends on the nationality of that particular girl. One of my friends is Korean and she tans all the time and looks great. I've seen pictures of her before she started tanning, and I would say she looks better.
But someone like Zhang Ziyi (sp?) probably shouldn't fake & bake, and just ride with her natural skin tone which is beautiful on her.
I am no guy, but I have an asian friend, who looks just amazing with and without a tan. Though, I think guys are attracted to her more so when she's NOT tanned. And trust me I have noticed that and she realizes it! She has black hair and dark eyes so the pale skin is what brings all her assets together and so she looks good! When she's tanned... yea she looks good, but compared to her original skin color... not so good.
So I'd say if it looks good on you.. go for it! Either way, if you can be confident and carry yourself in a high manner.. guys will love it.
Ok, not a guy, but this is my opinion on asian girls, being one myself. I have a natural tan, but I also have Hawaiian and puerto rican in me, so that's where I get the color. My half sister is pale but black hair, and a lot of guys go for her. (also 16, so maybe that's why) If you want to go tan, get the spray, my sister does that all year round, because she hates the pale face. Its also safer than getting skin cancer.
It's like comparing apples to oranges, you can't, and neither is better.
Tan asian girls drive us wild in the primeval sense, they are sexy/hot, like busty blondes, and we want to just have wild animal sex with them in the heat of summer.

Pale asian girls, appeal to us with their sense of innocence and femininity. In a mad, mad, world, us men are astounded to find something so sweet and cute (even if deep down, they're really just evil chinese gold-diggers).
