That's not bad. If you loose 20 pounds you will look great. I have a couple of friends including one girl all over 300 pounds. One guy I know is 360. He needs to loose 120 just to start looking good. You loose 20 pounds kid and you will have to beet the guys off with a stick. And you can do it in a month. Eat a healthy breakfast and lunch and a smaller dinner. Have a gronala bar and an apple when you get hungry. Drink lots of water it flushes out your system. And do a 45 minute walk every day around the track and the weight will come off quick. There might be a 1 week delay to let your metabolism adjust to your new diet. Remember eat more earlier, less for dinner, little snacks like apples and oranges to keep you from getting to hungry. Lots a water. 45 minute walk every day. And you will be looking great before you know it.
I think everyone who stated she is overweight are pathetic. I am 5'7 and I weight 178 and I have 165.7 pounds of MUSCLE on me so now what, am I fat too? BMI is wrong, you have to go to your doctor or a nutritionist and get your whole body mass looked at based on you. I hate people who are so superficial, grow the ef up and actually educate yourself on a topic before stating your ignorant opinion. Just go to the doctor and then find out what you need to do, but remember, muscle is metabolism!
No, it shouldn't be. *thats if its a good balance of muscle and fat because I'm 5'3 and 145 and I'm GORGEOUS.i actually want to gain some more weight :)
Yeah you're a bit overweight, but it's not hopeless. You're close enough that just working out a bit and changing the way you eat will probably make enough of a difference to get you well within the normal range. It won't even take that long. For me, the key is to make it a habit. If I can do that for a little while and be really strict about it, at some point it becomes second nature. Like it actually feels kind of weird if I'm eating like crap and not working out.
It's not like, terribly bad, you're just a little bit overweight. As the others have mentioned, just go by your BMI. But I think you should also go by your body type and how you carry weight.
everyone has a different opinion of "overweight." you might have too many lbs for your height but you mgiht not LOok overweight because you are tall. the only person that can really tell you if you are a healthy weight is your doctor. it depends on how tall you are.
She gave the height and weight. By all clinical definitions that's overweight and then some. Even if she had a large bone structure she's not at a healthy weight for her height, barring a well developed musculature. Body builders and fitness pros are the exception when it comes to this stuff of course. - 4 months ago

I am not a doctor and I don't know what the proper weight for her height is so I wasn't going to say yes you are overweight or no you aren't. - 4 months ago
