The Best First Date

My best first date was with my now current husband. We went to a great Italian restaurant. As soon as we were greeted and about to be seated the waitress assumed we were husband and wife and referred to us as such. We both looked at each other and smiled. We had a lovely meal meal there too. It was a sign up things to come which we both thought was pretty neat since we ended up getting married.

My best first date was with a guy that I had been working with for a while, I knew he wanted to ask me out, but I didn't want to get into the mess of dating co-workers. Several months went by and because of my school schedule, I had to quit. Before I left, he asked me on a date. It was a wonderful date, he did a lot of planning, which really impressed me, not to mention he kept it mysterious and unusual. He sent me flowers the day before the date, which really set my expectations high, and I was not to be dissappointed. My only clue, was that we were going to visit the 'gates of hell'. We ended up on the Stanford campus, and it turned out that there was a Rodin Sculpture on campus, called 'the gates of hell' it was so cool, we sat and talked for hours before we remembered that we were getting hungry.

My best first date was when I met my husband. He was the new guy to the platoon and we were having a fun run at the obstacle course. He kept tripping up and I laughed and laughed. After the duty day was over, we headed up Pikes Peak and looked down at Colorado Springs. He told me he was on the top of the world. I told him that was the lamest pun I'd ever heard. It was love.

The best first date I had was with my fiancee and we went through the redwoods in california....we then walked the eel river and enjoyed the breeze that came up the river...after that we went to the ocean and I showed her the different colors of sand that went from black to white.... I think that was the best first date I have ever had.

The best date for me would be just hanging out. You know we don't have to go out some where fancy just seeing a movie would be great! Maybe afterwards going to a coffee shop. Basically anything.

The best date would be to meet for coffee in a quiet cafe near a park. Sit and talk for an hour or two discussing everything under the sun. Then maybe a walk in that park, feeding ducks, etc.

While serving in Iraq with the U.S. Army, I started receiving letters from a girl back where I live. I didn’t know her at the time but having someone write to you is very refreshing and encouraging so I kept it up. We definitely fell for each other without ever seeing a picture. We agreed to meet in New York. She mentioned a nice resteraunt and that she’d wear this beige scarf. When I arrived in the city, it was raining horribly. I ended up go past this coffee shop and laundry mat (I remember it because she wrote specifically about going to both of these) and saw this beautiful girl wearing a beige scarf. I felt something. I went over to her and simply called out her name. She turned right around and looked at me., walked over out of cover and into the rain. At this point we’re standing in the rain and she wraps her arms around me. I could see her tears in the rain. We blew off a fancy dinner for pizza nearby. Her wet hair, cold clammy hands is probably what made me fall in love.

The guy and I had been friends since middle school. We ended up catching back up on Myspace. He confided that he had always had a crush on me. We talked for about a week then he suggested we go out and do something. So I met him in the town he lives in. He took me to dinner at a steak restaurant and afterwards we decided to go play putt putt. The entire time was just a blast! His company was quite enjoyable. Neither of us were ready for it to end so we went to the lake and walked around. Eventually ended up on the dock there and just sat there and talked as he held me. It was absolutely amazing! So simple, yet the company I was in was so wonderful!

There's this guy I have been talking to for the last month and we finally went out we just drove around and ended up at his place and I was about to tell him how much I liked him but he stopped me before I could and starting making out with me we ended up having s.e.x he was my first and I haft to say I had the most amazing time with him!!

I met this guy at a wedding, and we exchanged numbers. we talked every day for about a week and then decided to hang out. so we went to the movies. typical first date. but then we went to the park, it was already dark, and he told me to stay in the car. when I got out in the middle of the base ball field there were 2 blankets a candle and a bottle of wine. we layed there looking at the stars and talking and I looked over at him to say how much fun I was having and he kissed me mid sentence. it was the most amazing first date I have ever been on.

I went out for my 21st birthday with a friend and he brought his roommate. A couple weeks later the roommate got the nerve up to ask me out. I went over to his place and he had made me steak with this awesome marinade, and a baked potato. This is the first time any man other than my dad had cooked for me. It was so good and incredibly sweet for a first date. After dinner we went to the movie "The Quick and The Dead" and afterwards we went back to his place and talked with each other for a couple more hours. We got married a year later :)

We were supposed to go to a party in town. Yet we got snowed in and his car wasn't able to get out of my driveway... And we did not want to walk in the snow due to the fact that it was -49.... So we chilled in my house over those packaged noodles and watched cheesy reality shows.. :)

My first best date was with god....it was a day that iwas feeling really lonely and needed someone to listen to my problems....and I decided to read the bible and a message from the bible told to basically go out and have fun forget about all my troubles and worries.....so I drove around my city not knowing what should I do for the night I asked god give me a sign to tell me where to go...i ask god to show me a sign on the next song snd he did a song that was about a quiet starry night...and it hit me I am going to go this place called 74....i stop there and it was quiet and I could see the beautiful city I lived in and in the sky was stars and lots of shooting stars it was beautiful my first time ever having peace with my self and god being there to control the night.

I decided to meet my now current boyfriend for the first time at the dock/tower by the lake in our city. The previous day - a horrible thing happened to me - I got bit by a spider on my right cheek and my cheek swelled up. I had to work to that day so I had no choice but to go to work. (Luckily I work at a zoo and the zookeepers told me the bite wasn't poisonous). By the time I got home the swelling had not gone down. So I called my date and told him that I could not see him because of the spider bite. He insisted that he did not care how I looked like because he just wanted to get to know me for me. So with an ice pack on my cheek I went to meet him. We walked around the dock and talked for about 4 hours! We got tickets to go up on the tower and we watched the sunset there. Afterwards, we went down by the lake again, took our tower tickets, made a wish on them and threw them in the lake. I wished for something good to come out of all of this. 5 years later we are still together!

We decided to meet at the mall for our first date, but due to communication errors, we both misunderstood where we were supposed to meet up. I couldn't call him because his cell was broken.
So after more than an hour of panicking and waiting, I decided to walk around a bit more to look for him. I saw an escalator and decided to go up, and as soon as I looked up, I saw him coming down the opposite escalator. When our eyes met, it really felt like some sort of weird fate, because it was such a movie-like dramatic moment.
Turns out we had both arrived early but waited at the wrong exit, and we apologized to each other. It was an awesome first date because the mix-up instantly pulled us closer, and it became an unforgettable experience.

My best first date was at homecoming with a guy friend I thought I'd never end up with because he was white. I know it seems racist but I didn't think he liked black girls even though our school is mostly black people. We just sat the whole night together talking. I realized what a great guy he was and after the dance I asked his friend for his number and called him up. We have been dating for 5 months and I am so happy because I wasn't even going to go to the dance . I met the love of my life by total coincidence!!! :-)

We've known each other for 22 years as friends, then we went on our first date. We met at his house, walked to the Tai restaurant (my 1st time with Tai). He ordered for me, and we sat there and talked and caught up for over an hour. We walked back to his house to wait to go to the movies, but we never went. We stayed on his couch listening to music and talking about the last 10 years of our lives. It was the best first date for me, because he listened and cared about what I talked about and we cuddled and kissed with no expectations. That was 2.5 years ago. We are now married with a beautiful baby girl.

I went to his house in the morning and we took a bus to a nearby beach. We hung out there a bit, jumped from the *safe* bridge into the river, and had sand fights. When we got back to his house, we swam in his pool a little bit, then cuddled in front of the TV watching Madagascar. =)

We met on Myspace, talked for 3 months, then I flew up to see him in person. He was supposed to be joining the army and shipping out for a year and I didn't want to miss my chance. He took me to a dam and we went for a walk in the woods. We went to a chinese buffett for dinner, and then shared a hotel room. We got married two weeks later, and are still together.

My best first date was when I was 16 years old and I convinced my husband-to-be to ask me out. We double dated with another couple and went to a party my girlfriend was giving. We danced to the Beach Boys, ate junk food, talked and talked and talked, and fell totally in love. Unfortunately, we didn't get married until 32 years later, when we met again. But all's well that ends well!

It happened more than 7 years ago.We agreed to meet up for a Greek dinner.After dinner,we rented a DVD movie & watched it in his place.In the mid of the movie,he held one of my hands gently.He was just holding it for a while when he put one of his arms on my shoulder & hug me close to him.We stayed that way silently watching the movie & laughing at times.Suddenly he touched my face,looked into my eyes & gave me the gentlest/sweetest kiss I've ever had.We kissed for a bit & went back to watching.When the movie ended,he picked me up from the sofa (like newlyweds)- while kissing me he brought me to his bed.We spent the night just kissing before we went to sleep because I told him am not ready yet for more than that & he respected it.The next morning when I woke up he wasn't beside me.I went to the washroom & there was toothbrush/towel ready for me.After I freshen up,he called out from the kitchen.When I get there,he had breakfast prepared -omelet,toast,juice,fruits - nicely set on table:)

We met in a club in London, that night he took me for a hamburger at 4 am. He told me he was leaving three days later, back to the US so we spent the next three days together. A year later he moved to London.

A friend invited a bunch of friends to a local pizza parlor for pizza and beer and that is where he was. He walked me to my car that night in June and in November we were married. That was 15 years ago and that day in June was the luckiest day of my life.

We met on Spring Break in Daytona Beach Flordia. We found out that we were going to the same colege in Ilinois and were from the same city. We just hung out then a week later when we got back to school we went out on a real date. Went to a movie and the student center.

The best date I went on was a motorcycle ride. We also went fishing, and we had to cross a pasture where there were bulls.
