Trusting vs Trust Worthy. Which one are you and which one is more important?

I'm neither trusting nor necessarily trustworthy. As I've said before, my morality and my ethics are situational. Each individual gets one of many versions of me reflected back at them depending upon who and what they are. Anyone who decides to operate outside the normal moral constraints will find themselves staring back at something very like themselves whether they understand that or not.

For me trust is never automatic. It can only be earned over a long period of time based on actions, not words. And I'm as trustworthy as the person on the other side of the table deserves with no limits.

Definitely more on the trustworthy side. People (especially my friends) who know me always say they feel relaxed around me and that I'm the most honest and blunt person they know. What you see is what you get with me. And any question they have, I'll answer honestly because I'm an open book.

However, I tend to see how insincere many people are around me, so I'm definitely not trusting of most people.

I’m naturally trusting, but professionally and personally I work hard to be trustworthy. Being trustworthy is more important, 100%. Trusting without boundaries leads to lovebombing, manipulation, and red flag city. A trusting person with untrustworthy people gets hurt. Two trustworthy people can slowly learn to trust and actually build something real.
