How long should the "pre dating" stage last? I've been talking to someone for 2 months and I don't know how long should we take to make it official? we always tell each other we like each other and we almost act like a couple. It's a very confusing time for me. I'm afraid to ask him straight out because what if it freaks him out?

Someone has to make the move and ask the other out. I think two months is definitely long enough to make things official, so maybe you should take the leap and ask him out or hint at it.

If you're already practically acting like a couple then he is most likely ready to be in a relationship with you so just tell him that you want to be his girlfriend.
