Skinny. Sometimes I'd even go for a really skinny girl (the kind some people make fun of) over an average girl with a normal figure, because I like that I can put my arms around her to keep her warm and protect her.

I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but I'm a pretty skinny dude myself, and it would feel weird if the girl was a lot larger than me.

Generally, I'm still happy to date girls whose BMI is a little bit higher than mine (19.1) but not way way higher. Obviously, not going to measure. Just giving an idea.

Also, I know a lot of it's genes, and it's not fair. I'm not one of those stupid people who is going to judge you by what you eat. I have a pretty balanced diet, but there are people who eat better and weigh more than I do because they don't have my metabolism. I think I'd be the first person to realize that being fat is not something you can entirely help, because I see people eating way less than me and they're putting on weight but I'm not. You wouldn't want to date me if you're trying to be on a diet either, because I'm always hungry and sometimes eat 4 meals a day.

Some girls might want a beefier guy, but I'm happy being skinny. I feel healthy and I think I look fine.

for me it isn't genes (I will definatley not blame genes like most people do) its emotional eating (I eat when bored/depressed) I wasn't always fat.. and as long as YOU are happy with your self then just stay who you are .. I'm not happy with myself since I let myself eat when I'm not even hungry just cause I got bored/deppresed/sad

So sorry to hear that! Please try to be happier :) And at least your compulsive eating isn't as bad as people who drink or smoke. Physical activity creates endorphines, so try a sport or even just jogging. Not just to get in shape but do it for fun. Climate affects mood and eating, so you may find yourself happier during the summer. Music can also help.

Consider dancing too, if you don't feel too clumsy. Pretty much anything that will get you out of the house/school/whatever is a good idea. I understand depression, because I get down a lot too and I have friends who get really down. It does make you eat more, and sometimes people get eating disorders from it. Just try not to blame yourself. That's very important. I understand you feel responsible for your circumstances, but honestly no one is perfect. Everyone is struggling with something.

Thank you so much but I already know of a way I can handle this.. when depressed I eat carrots or any veggie or chewing gum(its the fact that I'm chewing on something that satisfies me, chewing gum makes me hungry :/) veggies digest quicker and don't really make you fat.. and to lose wieght the only thing that works for me is exercise I've lost 13 kg (27lbs) by going to the gym daily for at least an hour

I'm just saying make your happiness your #1 priority. Everything then will fall into place. People who are really happy have an aura around them that is infectious to other people...I really wish I was like that. The more you smile, the more people will want to be around you and that includes guys TOO!

A bonus of eating carrots is it will give you great vision :)

I think skinny and chubby are okay..Just depends on how chubby and how skinny..bones? yuck no! unhealthy! a little gut on a chubby person? who cares..most of us do ha ha I do :-) What is chubby anyway? I am not considered chubby..more like tall and carry my curves graciously ;-) so I have a small gut..and a butt..and boobs...and some hips..I would be more like Kim Kardashian than Kate Moss..and you know what? I LOVE IT :-D That doesn't make me chubby. Chubby is like the step before obese...It's where you have a lot of extra unnecessary fat in places you do not want. In that case, I'd either embrace it..or hit the gym and ditch McDonald's.

If I was a guy I would choose the cubby girl--- but it depends. If she was over 200 I probably would choose the skinny girl, but if she was like 100 pounds I would choose neither lol

Definitely perfer a chubby girl over a skinny one. Reason being is that chubby girls are more sexy because they have more of those feminine curves that turn us guys on. I honestly can't stand this whole ideal of making every woman so skinny they look like 11 year old boys. In general, girls are most sexy between the 125-155 lbs weight range.

Thank you so much ! but I'm not a fan of calories and burning them, the only time I did lose 13 kg (27 lbs) was when I went to the gym everyday, I quit eating chocolate crisps soft drinks and I oven cook everything instead of frying it, I still eat in restaurants but definatley not in fast food restaurants, all that cuts down enough calories plus 1-3 hours exercise daily I lost the 13 in 2 months..

Not too skinny yet not too chubby. I used to be attracted to a girl who was on the big side, because she had a terrific personality and always had a cheerful attitude, she was so cute! If chubby girls want to be more attractive to guys, always be happy and outgoing, not sad and depressed because of your not slim. More men will want to be with you and they'll be less shallow.

Skinny girls are a major turn off(Skinny as in Anorexic skinny), especially when you can see all her ribs all the time (smaller breast sizes also tend to augment it, making it look worse) Personally I'd rather have a girl packing some meat on her bones then a skeleton :P

I may be a little biased as a curvy girl myself, but as a bisexual, I can honestly say that I'm more attracted to a "chubbier" hourglass figure than a skinny girl. Taking care of yourself is key, though. Having class. It's really attractive when curvy girls wear flattering clothing instead of stuff that squeezes them. If you wear a size 16, don't try to fit into a 12. THE NUMBER DOESN'T MATTER. You'll look sexier in a size that FITS.

I would much rather date a chubby girl because they are more attractive with more feminine bodies, like bigger boobs and butts. Plus, they are often very cheerful and not self-absorbed. I don't think anyone who sees a fat girl eating a salad thinks what you just stated. I like to see people choosing healthy options for their body, so that means if I see a really skinny person eating a cookie for lunch I get really upset and think they need to eat that cheeseburger.
