If he's protective of you....is it a friendly thing?

This guy recently has started becoming protective of me...like when I tell him I'm going out with my girls, he tells me to "be safe", and is always concerned about how I am doing, and always checks in with me to make sure things are going well...? Also, he is very flirtatious with me and compliments me lots... Is this more friendly? He also always says that him and I should go out to drinks..?

as a man I will only protect the things I truly care about, mainly this is my friends and family. the girl who I like and seems to like me is something that I feel especially good and interestied in protecting. If it came down to protecting her its something instictual and wouldent think twice about it. if this guy is protective of you I think he could view you as more than just a friend.

He sounds like a pretty good guy, and I would bet that he wants to be more than friends. Those sort of things show that he genuinely cares for you and your well being - regardless of whether you're his friend/girlfriend/ex/whatever If you're up for a relationship then you should let him know before somebody else notices him.

No its more than that. What you have is a man that is willing to protect. You have to understand that, to act as security, is one of the roles of a man in evolution and nature. So how lucky are you? Consider yourself rare as a diamond to have a man that protects you.

men do that to assess their chances with you... you would send hints to him also...it could be subtle or not so subtle depending on you and how you like him.
