They think it's something too wild or untamed because it's not slicked down or straight like their own or like they assume, because of all the perms/relaxers, that natural hair is supposed to look like. However, in recent years, "the natural hair movement," has re-introduced the world to the absolute beauty and variety of styles that can be obtained from natural hair including those for ones wedding day or even a prom or other special event.
