I'm only going to answer this because people have called me "beautiful" before. Personally I think beauty is subjective so I don't get too caught up in myself. I am aware I am good looking and I am been fortunate enough to have a high metabolism to keep me fit no matter my diet, but thankfully my mother taught me better than to let my head inflate. To be honest, it is not all its cracked up to be.
Sure, it's nice when people look at you and makes you smile, but as coco said bellow, it doesn't attract JUST the good guys. You also get hit on a bunch of a-holes. When they see you are good-looking they can rush over and the moment they realise you aren't a hollow-headed moron they start spewed stuff at you. Looks can be very deceiving.
Another draw-back is everybody assumes you are in a relationship. Nobody would ever think you were single and so nobody tries to actually flirt with you. Those who do are mostly self-absorbed guys looking for a shag: Exactly what I'm trying to avoid.
On the other hand, I have to admit I adore waltzing out of the shower, going up to the mirror and just being happy with the way I look and feel about myself. It doesn't 'give you confidence (you have to find that yourself!) but it puts me at ease (I used to be very ugly as a child) and lets me go about my day with a spring in my step.
So basically yes it has its ups but it also has its downs. I don't think anything in this world is just blue skies and roses.

I'm like girl next girl cute. Auburn hair, brown almond shaped eyes, light dimples, freckles, and soft features. I get more looks than I care for and a lot of attention. I look in the mirror and see 'average', yet friends and boyfriends LOVE to point out how many people check me out anywhere I go. Because of this combined with being shy, I tend to dress down to avoid attention. Now when I need a boost, it's nice. Lol.

When I was younger it made me uncomfortable because I was very shy and modest. Now that I'm older it can be a bad thing because mostly guys just want to have sex with you it's like they don't care who you are inside. Inside I'm just an average girl even though men have referred to me as a goddess, I don't feel that way inside.
Makes me laugh that people actually answer these kind of questions.
