What does it mean when your crush jokingly insults you?

As the title says. Is this a sign of flirting? He calls me fat when I'm actually slim or " ugly" but I know he's just joking. He's 29. Do all 29 year old males act like this?

And no he's NOT gay. He def likes the ladies.

He also jokes about my size because I'm quite short calling me "tiny" and the more I think about it, the more I believe its his way of flirting. He doesn't do this to our mutual friend who is also a girl. Sometimes it bothers me but I just brush it off.

I wouldn't call that 'flirting'!
When I like a girl, I 'tease' her about matching clothes, and accessories, or about her shoes, or something that isn't openly 'offensive'
I would NEVER call a woman 'fat' or 'joke' about weight, or how she looks in something that makes her look 'fat' even if she asks!!! It isn't a 'joking' thing, to most women, and they take it personally!!!
You need to find a guy that REALLY likes you, and get rid of this guy!! If he's saying stuff, pretending to be 'joking' and it bothers you enough to ask, here, he's not the one you want!!
Don't settle for a guy you have, but find the 'right' guy, so you can be really happy!!

Yes. Some people can really have weird taste of joke , nor they enjoy sarcasm.

It could be merely just his way of flirting, but keep an eye on him. Some people start off joking, but then the undertone changes and a war of words begins.
