Ive been in the same situation. Its only going to get worse. He's being possesive. Its not really normal, He just has low confidence and is scared you'll leave him for one of those guys. You should be able to hug your guyfriends if you want to. You know where the line is, obviously kissing and sex and stuff is crossing the line, but hugging is fine.

It's possessive to tell a girl she can't hug any other guys. I wouldn't really care if every once in a while she had a male friend she hugged or something. I'd have a problem if she hugged every guy and had a ton of male friends, but still it'd depend on the situation

It's not ok. Women are less inclined to think of it as showing affection but men are wired differently. A hug from a girl to a man is different because guys will feel your breasts pressed up against them and will have a sexual thought whether you think your "guy friends" will or not they will. Trust me. If your boyfriend isn't ok with it then you shouldn't do it unless it really bothers you than you should just leave your boyfriend and find a guy who thinks its ok for you to touch other men with your body.
