How to reject a CREEPY guy PROPERLY?

I've met my share of guys who have confessed to me but they were my friends- someone I actually knew. But I never had a guy ask me to be his girlfriend. But a few days ago, a STRANGER asked me straight up. When I told him no, but he just kept pushing. How do you say no when they're pushy, you're not interested, and still want to be nice? I tried to nicely reject him but he took it as a challenge to even try harder? How do I give him the message that I want him to stop right then and there because I'm just not interested in having a relationship? This guy was really creepy and he scared me and he was asking too many personal questions even though he just came up to me 5 minutes before. Is there no way to break it down nicely to a desperate guy?

um, additional info- the guy got my number from one of my friends and he's been calling me and texting me (I only replied once), tried to add me on Facebook (ut I didn't confirm him) and he even followed me back to my dorm beside my university when I tried to walk away from him. Also, when I told him that I he was a nice guy and I can't be his girlfriend but I was sure he'd find one and that he should know the girl first before asking her to be his girlfriend, he just replied, "well, that's too bad because my dad allowed me to have one now.." and so I told him that we could be friends because I didn't want to hurt him.

HELP?!?! this desperate guy is making me desperate to stay away from him..

Desperate doesn't always mean creepy. You should be nice to people, ofcourse, but if the guy is being pushy and being friendly and saying "no" doesn't work, I suggest you just say it bluntly: "why would I be your girlfriend, you jumped at me five minutes ago and don't know the meaning of the word "no", so NO I don't want to be your girlfriend, could you leave me alone now?". If he doesn't stop, just keep on walking or doing what you're doing. They want attention, even negative attention works for them, they get what they want. By saying "no" once, most of the creepy ones won't budge. Say no again and by the third time say something like I said here a couple of lines before and just walk on and ignore them, they'll give up within 5 minutes (after scolding, calling you names, but don't let that "lure" a reaction from you, just ignore it).

On the other hand, you have the nice guys who are desperate, but those guys can be talked to, they understand if you tell them nicely, just something like: I don't know you well enough, you're not my type, I don't feel any chemistry between us, ... They'll understand and be nice (though some could get pissed off).

Say no thanks and get away from them. Let him know you want nothing to do with him. You can't be friends with people like that.

Well you can always get the police involved.

Don't say you want to be friends with a desperate guy or any guy for that matter that has shown interest in you as a partner. It won't work. If you don't want to him to bother you. Go up front and directly tell him, that there is absolutely no chance whatsoever.

It's not being rude if the person doesn't listen to gentle nos. If even after a super firm no to his face, he doesn't back off and continues to push. Go to well adults. You know like your boss or parents or teacher or if need be the police.

This guy looks like a creeper to me. A decent guy who may have been desperate by now would have understood and respected your decisions. This guy seems more like a stubborn one. So yea, you can try hardcore methods on him.

Continuing to speak to a persistent guy after you have rejected him is only going to make him think that you are playing hard to get, which consequently will make him try harder to win you over. Because of this, your response to his proposition should be to the point and emphatic, followed by a prompt cease in communication with him.

Tell him no and then walk away. If follows you, get help!
