Anyways.. My mom is always insisting I take my glasses (they're prescribed) off whenever we take pics for certain occasions, but since Im more aware of how I look like without my glasses and because my face is round -Im just a little chubby in the tummy soo..- I really get self-conscious.. and now that Im 17, the DMV wants me to get my DL without my glasses because of the glare (due to the flash) . Im honestly so self-conscious about my eyes because since my head is so round, my eyes seem to be small and nearer to each other without my glasses. Even if I end up getting fit, I wouldn't want any contacts or eye laser surgery. My friends and my cousins want to see me without my glasses sometimes too, but I always say no.. I feel ugly without em /: and during occasion, my mom kills the mood because she gets mad that I dont wanna take em off.
- What would you think if you were in the same situation?
- If you had an s/o like this, would you accept and respect their decision?
- Are you also self-conscious without something you need everyday?
