I know this probably sounds insecure but my girlfriend likes to wear skirts mostly midi or maxi and she likes to go commando.

For me that's no problem cause I find it really hot and sexy but there are times in the day when we don't see each other and whenever I pick her up from work there are some guys looking at her as if they know she goes commando and I get sorta jealous to be honest

I asked her to wear some panties but she says she doesn't want to, only during her periods.

For girls is there really a huge difference wearing no panties and wearing panties under a skirt? Cause I wanna tell her to wear panties so other guys would not look at her.

Eeewggh... sorry, but as a girl, I find going commando quite nasty. Just... the occasional smell and humidity is enough for me to want to put a physical barrier with the outer world. The thing is, this could be a merely comfort-related issue. There are no strong basis upon you could persuade her that going commando is actually "bad" for her. And if she is comfortable that way, then she's going to continue skipping underwear.

If I was hypothetically in that situation and my boyfriend asked me to wear panties (and I stubbornly said no, I don't want to), perhaps knowing how he feels about it would make me change my mind. People are so different. I almost require my wife go without panties if wearing skirts or dresses. I can't imagine wanting her to wear them. Have you never seen up a girls skirt?
